Disciples of Ragnos Speak out Against Darth Marell and Darth Kane

March 20, 2011

High Colonel Viper of the Disciples of Ragnos (DOR) Imperial Stormtrooper Corps met with reporters Daana Kira and Rakiko Lowtide on the forst moon of Endor where the DOR troopers have installed in an old imperial bunker there. Speaking mainly about the matter with the dark lords of the Tvarka iv Tave D’uzlika Raiskus (TitDR), specifically Darth Kane and Darth Marell, the Colonel also spoke about DOR and their relationship with the rest of the galaxy.

Following the annoucnemnt made by Darth Kane and Darth Marell of the Dark Lords of the Tvarka iv Tave D’uzlika Raiskus, High Colonel Viper of the Disciples of Ragnos (DOR) contacted GNN for an interview. Meeting him on the surface of the ewok moon of Endor, we were brought into the bunker acting as a home for the Imperial Stormtrooper Corps of the DOR.

Higher Colonel Viper speaking with reporters in the imperial bunker

Colonel Viper first told that the DOR had been allies with the TitDR, but had separated from that group after leaving Ord Mantell. The colonel stated that differences and animosity had arisen between the two groups due to the TiTDR acting as a “bully” towards the disciples. Instead of bowing to the other faction and continued to acts as Darth Marell’s cannon fodder, as the Colonel put it, the DOR decided to leave Ord Mantell. However, he said having no comment at this time on the issue of Darth Marell being attacked by DOR agents. Colonel Viper also warned that it would be a mistake by Darth Kane or Darth Marell to enter into conflict with the Disciples, which are by no means a small faction and according to the High Colonel had more members than the TitDR. Even though the colonel acknowledged that his opponents had some powerful leaders and experienced military units, it would still not be able to stand against the DOR, who at the moment was acting in a purely defensive manner. Furthermore, the colonel stated that his troops had a large military with several powerful bases around the galaxy and not the headquarterless organization that Darth Marell portrayed to raise the morale of his own troops However, if Darth Marell did want to stop hostilities and enter in a nonaggression treaty that would be taken into consideration by the DOR leadership

As mainly a SIth organization, the Disciples of Ragnos wish to bring stability and peace to the galaxy and have pledged their allegiance to Emperor Novo of the Byss Empire to further these goals. They also have several other allies along with training facilities around the galaxy like the one at Endor. Hopefully the situation with Darth Marell and Darth Kane can be resolved peacefully, but this is what the Colonel had to say “Tvarka iv Tave D’uzlika Raiskus is destined to sputter out the way a fire does when covered by rainfall; We at Disciples of Ragnos, along with the Dark Lords of the Sith, shall be that rainfall. We will -you might say – ‘Rain on their parade.”

((I am Making the Satement that DOR Does NOT Actually have rights to Endor, The United Imperial Knights do as they have been agreed to by the Sim Owner. DOR has no officialy place to be there and the Owner has been conatcted about it and it is confirmed, DOR does NOT have control o Endor but the UIA does by Sim ownrs say))

((Ah, but ICly the UIA has not told us that we are not allowed to use it as a base, in fact they have neglected to contact the DOR at all ICly regard recent events and as such, ICly, DOR assumes it is allowed to use Endor))

(is it not up to the sim owner to make that call of who is and who is not in control of there sim, and if IC the DoR are there, then does it not mean that those who wish them removed should do it IC and not ooc up the pretense that people ooc are just upset and throwing a fit over it.)

What you’re getting into is a very, very tough argument, that has been going on since I started SWRP 4 (Or is it 5 now) years ago. Sim Owners DO Have day in who, and who does not controll their sim IC’ly. What seperated the good owners from the bad ones is how much, (Or Little) they use that power of judgement.

I find that the most popular sims, with the most traffic and different groups (Aside from the Nazi like controll of LME by its owners being the exception) are the ones who’s owners let roleplay take its own path, and not using the power as a sim owner to dictate who does what. Giving the Rpers freedom.

To sum it up, the most popular sims are sims in whitch the owners (And Admins, and GM’s) Don’t interfere with major Rp’s and Conflicts. HOWEVER, Admins, GM’s and owners do promote major RP. These are the most successful sims. (Though these days they are few and far between I’m afraid.)

((OOC Because if I didn’t put this OOC ticker… people would think I’m IC? No idea why…))

    *HAS LE QUESTION*

Why do Sith always ude Imperial tech, such as Storm Troopers. Sith of the past, Unless it was a Sith ruling the Empire, often used their own tech. A good example of this would be Sith Troopers, Sith Destroyers, and the like, like the ones from KOTOR. Granted, this was before the Empire, but still…

I like the Revenant alot because they adopted their own tech, Revenant Destroyers, Revenant troopers and the Like.

So the sum up my question. Why don’t more sith group make their own troopers, and ships? Why do they always (Aside from very few, such as the Revenant, and the old Korriban groups who brought back Sith Troopers) Always use Imperial Tech?

(that is simple to answer Senkon, do to most players in swrp cant build or script and design ships, please keep in mind this, yes new design fighters and armor can be done. But its finding a person who wants to make them, and also you have tones of people in swrp that when something new does come out, they become cannon book thumpers and say no do to its not cannon.)

        ((OOC!!!!!!!! RAWR!!!!))
This is true, it is all a matter of money to pay the builder, unless you happen to have a builder, or an inspiring builder in your group. I believe that to make RP more… What is the word… (I’ll reply again when i think of the correct term…)

((I cannot speak for other Sith groups, but I can state that the troopers on Byss use a custom crafted rifle and custom armor. If you are curious, you can go to Myrkr to see what they have created. It’s quite impressive, actually.
To answer your other question, I imagine it depends on personal funds. Keep in mind the budget concerns for certain groups, and while it is certainly possibly to create your own customer look from pre-crafted armor, if you do not make your own or shell out the funds for a set that you can copy then you are asking your members to foot the bill. Pre-crafted Storm Trooper armor and blasters is a much “cost friendlier” route.))

((all above statements are exactly why i love mandalorian armor [That and i flat out love mandos] because each individuals take on the armor is their own and is not widely definded aside from a general T helmet and some plate similarities))
