Sith Empire on the missing Emperor’s ship

December 14, 2011

Galactic News Network received a press release from the Sith Empire.

The Sith Imperial Media Department issued a press release addressing the absence of the Emperor, which certain rumours announced lost. The message is also referring to new facility on the planet Xagobah, far from the traditional borders of the Empire. In the Imperial Capital Byss, the officials refused to comment the event furthermore.

From the Imperial Media Department:
The Imperial Star Destroyer has gone missing

Unconfirmed rumors report that contact has been lost with the Emperor’s Star Destroyer as it was making its return journey from the planet of Xagobah where he had been inspecting a new facility.

The Imperial Media Department refutes any claims that long-range scanners picked up a titanic explosion in the area, dismissing them as malicious gossip.

What is undeniable is that the Emperor’s retinue is late in its scheduled return. A Sector Fleet has been sent along the Rimma Trade Route to investigate.

Maybe something happened or maybe not,but isn’t smoke without fire.
Lets see what that Sector Fleet will find during the investigation.

I would like to state for the Record, as ruler of the Mayagil sector.None of the Lich Fleet’s listening stations detected any such explosions, nor any kind of disturbance at all. I’m certain it had nothing to do with the standing forces there.

You are the ruler of the ENTIRE Myagil Sector? We must be careful then, after all we do own Xagobah.

I was the one who conquered it for the Empire. The fleet I built under Darth Aran when we were both a part of the Shadows of the Triumvirate, He as the Previous Shadow Lord, Before he joined the Dark Lords on Byss, leaving it to me and the rest of us. From there, I re enslaved the native species, and rebuilt the Droid foundries and fortress of Wat Tambor on Xagobah, for years it built fleet that over the course of years, Spread out to conquer, or annex Mayagil sector, beginning with The Coru system and the conquest of the Bith. It’s well documented, and I even still maintained several facilities that were built when the Planet was conquered by the Order of Rowe, of which I was a member.

(I should comment additionally, this OOCly all occurred nearly two RL years ago, before I was in the Trayus Academy to begin with, when my Character still just went by Darth Umbra,as part of the RP to explain why Xagobah was no longer a Sim, that The “Lich Fleet” had blockaded it off and begun expanding into the Mayagil, using the resources to fund the massive Sith re-population effort, which has been part of a long term over-arching RP, that has been approaching the final stages over the last RL year, and will soon be complete.)

Looks over the the screen receiving word of yet another bold claim… ” Xagobah now belongs to the Sith Empire and has since been reclaimed.” At this moment Darth Rowe and former ruler of Order of Rowe has since arrived on the planet Along with myself,if you wish dispute this fact we shall await you on Xagobah.”
(Now i should comment it was my name on the rental box i sold the land i find it an amazing feat the 5-6 members left behind went on to expand and claim the Maygil system in any event Xagobah does have a new land owner and of course i have no objetion to you IC trying to challenge us with the knowledge you might meet more opposition then you may desire by as for any other actual holdings there you might want ask sim management .))

(( And just to make it clear OOCly, there is a new Xagobah sim which is about to be launched in the next few days. I would expect IC ownership to be determined by the sim owner and for no other faction / individual to claim historical IC ownership of it based on a now-defunct sim [ 2 years ago no less ] and what might have been its imagined / extrapolated story beyond its physical existence as a sim…

…In the same way that my group wouldn’t claim IC ownership of the current Korriban just because *we* made and owned the first one in SWRP in 2005, because that would be ridiculous 😛 ))

“Xagobah has always belonged to the Sith Empire,I would never claim otherwise, my old master. I only had sovereignty over the planet because of your absence, with you and Darth Rowe’s return, it is returned to your rightful rule as a gesture of loyalty and friendship. ”
((SotT which later turned into The DPA grew to a rather large group afterwards on Thule, and later on the small facsimile of a Ship orbiting Xagobah during the time when the Stenness build was around.a time when we had about 15-20 members active. until the Sim closed while I was away from Sl due to RL financial issues. It was part of an RP which also helped to explain several things. 1. where the resources for further builds and expansions game from ICly, to establish a solid IC source of funding rather than pulling it out of our collective asses 2. To help explain an RL absence I had. And 3. to serve as a jumping off point for further RP to further along existing over-arching RP plotlines. Which to date has served, and I was only made aware of a new Xagobah’s construction fairly recently. I would not however challenge The rights of the previous Sim owner, nor the current one in regards to the IC ownership of the system, The Mayagil Sector, it felt thematically appropriate. And it is something my character has mentioned in the past publically on numerous occassions, and is rather important to my Character’s backstory. Additionally, I told Alkaia when she was creating her SWRP Map that the Mayagil sector and Xagobah was part of the Sith Empire space because of this.

To destius, I wouldn’t be so presumptuous to think it is up to anyone but the sim owner to decide, ultimately, even if my character and others have a good deal of backstory and past RP associated with it, I’d be incredibly arrogant and self important to believe for a second I had any OOC claim to it. )

The same day we hear the Sith Emperor ship is missing and a mysterious Sith fleet reappears where a large explosion is rumoured.

    I found this curious.
