Callista Ne’tra Takes the Crown over Telos IV

December 21, 2011

Journalists met with Callista Ne’tra of Telos IV who had taken the governor position, but now has become Queen over that system.

Telos IV: After only a short period of time as governor, having disposing of the former, Callista Ne’tra became the Queen of this planet. She claimed being in the bloodline of a former royal dynasty through her mother which she discovered the papers recently. After conferring with the Telos council they agreed for her to take her place as Queen over Telos IV. Furthermore, to keep the independence of her new kingdom, she plan to relinquish her status as a Mandalorian when the Ne’tra clan leader will be back.

Queen Ne'tra along with her aid Lako.

As her first action as Queen, the NTF has been given a formal embassy on Telos IV, who now have full law enforcement powers on the world as well as military defense. She has also placed several building project in place, wishing to restore and expand the once great capital of Telos IV and return the world to its former glory. She hopes also to become a power in the region able to offer aid to other worlds friendly to the crown.

On a final note, the personal aid and bodyguard to the Queen, Lako, announced that even though all visitors are welcome to Telos IV, they will have to undergo a scanning search for weapons. Only government agents and certain allies will be allowed to carry weapons on the world. This is to ensure the safety of the citizens and the Queen.

Well queen or no. I would very much like to know why the messenger she sent to Nar Shaddaa thought it was a good idea to attack a hutt there. An event I witnessed personally, This is not the way to get her requests fulfilled. It is, however a good way to end up on the wrong side of hutt space.

    The Jiaasjen’ari :
Please do not legitimize these morons, I’m willing to bed this so called “Queen” is nothing but some honorary promotional title that someone wins every year for entering some sweepstakes or the like, Telos has never had any kind of monarchic government and they would not have one now.

This is indeed a good point. If you check the public archives, control of Telos IV has changed multiple times as has its purpose. But one thing is clear: Telos IV has never had a monarchy or aristocrats. During the Old Republic, it was run by an elected Governor. Honestly, I’m unsure if Telos IV is currently in Republican or Sith Space, but clearly something odd is going on. This information is all available in the public archives. I recommend this situation be looked into. I feel as if this ‘queen’ has somehow gotten away with usurping control of Telos IV, inventing a falsified story of a royal lineage, and granting control of the planet to the NTF. Is any of this even legal?

NTF does not control the planet the telosian council does wich i run as head of state. NTF only has an embasy thier wich they can detain anyone trespasing in. and i have changed my title to head of state as it seems more apropriate

Weren’t you JUST made governor by usurping the ‘elected’ title from someone you deemed corrupt according to GNN? If a governor is an official elected by the people and the Galactic Senate, how are you managing to claim all these positions? It seems like a very foolish way of going about tyranny to me. I’d like to see the laws and constitution of government for Telos IV sometime. It seems what you’re doing is pretty much illegal. If it’s not illegal, why don’t you enlighten the rest of the galaxy?

OOC: Queen or not she is also the Governor.

(( I’m aware she’s governor, but obviously I can only assume one of two things in character: She’s either a pretender and usurper or has a hobby of inventing titles for herself. ))
