Frequent attacks against Taanab

December 29, 2011

Visiting Taanab, a reporter of the Galactic News talked with the Jedi.

Jedi of Taanab has to report daily attacks from different factions on their systems. In more of the Sith raids, they already deplored, attacks from space pirates can recently be added. Until now, this attack only caused little damages, but their rate worry the inhabitants. The planet was defended by its Jedi, allies Jedi of Dantooine (DJE) and the Antarian Rangers. The forces of the Republic, which the planet is member, may be called in the future.

The Sith attacks are led by Constantine and Darth Farah. Little is known yet about them but they are supposed to come from Korriban. The Space pirates are commanded by Plars, assumed to be from Nar Shaddaa. According to the Jedi, both factions are trying independently to get control on the planet and its resources. The reason they are attacking a well defended planet with numerous allies for such a reason is still unknown.

The Jedi wouldn’t be against a counter offensive but currently lack of information on the attackers are scarce. Investigators should be sent to try to know more about this threats. Meanwhile, the locals defend their position and increase their alert levels.

    What? I beg to differ.

I’d like to request GNN make some clarifications as to the nature of the pirates. Are they an independent crew that Plars has suddenly decided to lead? If this article is referring to the galaxy’s space pirates as a whole, they’re led by a council of six with a pirate lord leading and representing them. That Pirate Lord is Jes’tula Tor’dok, not Plars. Last I checked, Plars isn’t even a member of the council.

    Corrections…

The pirates in question are not under command nor contract with Nar Shaddaa’s Hutt Council regarding attacks against sovereign worlds. We are a neutral world of a neutral people and busy with our business interests.

Plars is in fact based on Ord Mantell as he is a member of the charming Sihivus Verne’s coterie, Imperious. Whether Verne is also involved in these attacks, who leads the pirates and why they are attacking has nothing to do with the Hutts excepting that the Dantooine Jedi and Antarian Rangers both were visibly assaulting the legally owned world of Uvena Prime to dislodge the rightful government of Timoora the Hutt, and so I wish the pirates and Sith well in their own assaults.

Perhaps in the interest of Justice and “doing what is right” as the invaders so often quoted to me on Uvena, the Hutts should become involved. But in any case we have not yet so please edit the news report accordingly.

Plars in fact was not part of these attacks and asisted TJO, DJE and the Rangers in fighting Jestula. It was clear his battle was of a more personal nature. On another note I was told the natives of Uvena Prime were being used as slave labor and that since it was in the Hutts history that was ok and the Jedi had no right to interfere in such matters. Sadly it was more than just slavery as I had a high ranking member of the Armada brag to my face that he was involved in the execution of over a million Shistavanens. Slavery being part of a system is one thing, waging genocide is another. GLA and coalition forces wanted to put a stop to the genocide which the Hutts obviously didn’t care either way as they knew what was going on. If you think Jestula destroying installations on Dantooine killing civilians is justice then it should be clear why the GLA fought to dislodge the government of Timoora and take control away from the Armada to give back to the Shistavanen. You think you’re right, we think we are right. Thats usually how conflicts start eh?

The Revenants and Hutts couldn’t accept their defeat in the war from Uvena Prime. And as i stated before, they hired mercenaries and pirates to avenge their defeat, to punish GLA, Jedi and GAR for their envolvement on Uvena. How? Attacking Dantooine, Taanab, provoqing many destructions and many life loses, i will be not surprised if i hear soon that family members of the fighters from GLA, will be kidnapped, tortured or will be requested substantial ransoms for their freedom.About GAr will take care about this issue agents from unit 331.The message is clear” You dared to interfeer in our business and to lost profits and respect? Be ready to pay an expensive price for your actions”….
