Dxun, Still an Active Home for Mandalorian Clans

January 10, 2012

On a trip to the Onderon System, Daana Kira and her understudy Danrick Shadowstar landed on Dxun, where serveral new Mandalorian camps had been built.

Dxun: Wet and wild pretty much sum up first landing on Dxun. As we walked through heavy rains then started running through heavy rains due to some overzealous wildlife, we finally came upon a heavily fortified wall. Not particularly wanting to discuss the matter with the large fanged creatures on our heels we entered the encampment.

This particular encampment was a rebuild of an older Mandalorian stronghold. The retrofit was by Jarell Xaaris, Alor of the mandalorian clan Dha’oy’karir. Also active here is the clan Tal’galar and possible others. Mr. Xaaris stated this site once belonged to the Mandalore Canderous Ordo a thousand years ago. Now as the large Mandalorian statue at its entrance symbolizes the sight is now a welcoming beacon to all mandalorians as well as an economic hub to visitors.

Even the locals need weapons to ward off the large beasts of the forests. Alor Jarell Xaaris (left) with a clansman.

Dxun has always been home to clan Dha’oy’karir ever since, Jarell formed it after his parents were killed by the Sith known as Darth Marell, but has also expanded the clan’s activities to other areas such as Mos Entha where they are still pledged to help the local populace against the Tusken Raiders.

Now they hope to be a main Mandalorian center, welcoming their brethren with open arms. Others are also welcome though those that follow the many force paths may be looked up on with suspicion especially Sith, who will have to get used to having Jarell’s eye on them. The area boasts a large restaurant, the Rancor’s Tooth and well as offices and as training areas. A large open market area is also planned for the locals, mandalorians, as well as visitors.

In its close proximity to Onderon, Dxun even though of its wild landscape may still be an attraction to visitors. Mandalorians though should find a very welcoming and relaxing area, where they can conduct business and receive training. Hopefully the moon will also open itself up to the Jedi controlled planet of Onderon it surrounds.

Sohn, in this climate of Dxun, are raised and trained one of the best soldiers in the galaxy, the mandalorians!((also see Dune, the elite army of sardaukars, who were raised and trained in the harsh climate of planet Salusa Secundus…of course is not swrp, is just an example, best soldiers are trained in very hostile terrain and climate))
