Iria Tuqiri new Grand Master of the KOJ

January 11, 2012

Having heard of the change in the head of the Kalway order of the Jedi, a reporter of Galactic New Network interviewed their new Grand Master

Master Iria Tuqiri was promoted as Grand Master of the Kalway Order of the Jedi (KOJ) in Yavin 4. She was prepared to take this position by the former Grand Master, Luv Moonsoo. She gave up her title in a simple ceremony when she felt the new Grand Master was ready.

Grand Master Iria Tuqiri

Master Tuquri was previously the Head of the Council. Master Moonsoo is still in the Jedi Council. The transition was smooth, the Master Tuquri does not plan to change the current politic of the order and she will still refer to the council and recalled the priorities of the order remain “to protect and defend those who cannot do so themselves, to restore balance to the force by cleansing it of it’s dark side taint, preferably by helping those lured to the dark side see the light once again,” the purpose of the academy being to “train the new generation of Jedi in order to accomplish those things.”

In conclusion, Master Tuqiri told her pride of her order and affirmed her dedication to the Jedi: “I’ll just say that I am extremyly proud of our order and all that we have accomplished… and as their new grand master it is my pleasure to serve them in even greater capacity than I have ever before. I will do my utmost to accomplish the goals of their training, the goals of this order, and the goals of all Jedi everywhere.”

considering your definition of a “fine leader”, jetii, I have no doubt that you think she is one. however, perhaps you and yours in the KOJ should learn a little more before claiming to be jetiise. I’ve said this since i was a child, and i’m not the only one saying it. the last true Jetii died on Uvena Prime, though one more seems to be around, I wish him the best of luck in bringing real Jetii back.

Of course, for Mandalorians, the only Good Jedi are Dead Jedi. I’m now eager to see the Jedi awarding certificates of Good Mandalorians.

I respect some of today’s supposed jedi, but not because they’re jedi. as for real jedi, I respected Master moreau in so far as, he did what no other did, and that was give everything he had into being a jedi. He was in every sense of the word, a sage, and the fact that so many Sith even respected him, tells you all you need to know.
