Changes in the Disciples of Ragnos

January 31, 2012

After having been heard indirectly of the Disciples of Ragnos last activities, reporters of the Galactic News meet their new leader in Mos Espa.

After their long absence from Tatooine, the Disciples of Ragnos returned in their Fort Bane in Mos Espa. They are now led by a new Arch Lord, Darth Sea’hal II, cousin and former apprentice of the late Arch Lord Exitium.

Arch Lord Darth Sea'hal II

Exitium died in his forties, of a “a natural cause”, his old age. He aged quicker after a physical change, from his original Zabrak species to a Sith pureblood. This was a “gift of Magna Ragnos,” the ancient Sith Lord the disciples revere, and was assumed to be an unbearable pain, although the long run consequences may not have been foreseen. About to die, Exitium trusted the leadership of his organisation to his cousin. The funerals shall be organised soon.

Even with a new leader, the politic of the Disciples is not expected to change radically. Their break with the Sith Empire looks final, and they are currently away from the Hutt business. Although they would be ready to assist Jengaz the Hutt, recently attacked in Tatooine to find his Sith aggressor.

Darth Sea’hal II explained his now broken alliance with the Rebel Scum always was meant to be temporary and ceased after their victory on the Sith Empire of Anoth. On the break with the Imperious, the Arch Lord said member of this organisation disagreed with an alliance and a bounty hunter was hired to intimidate him. Still alive at his time, Exitium aligned to the Space Pirate instead.

The Disciples currently are  struggling against the Jedi of Dantooine (DJE) in a “religious feud” which led to some military raids on the Jedi Enclave. The Arch Lord considers them being the most worthy and most influential Jedi and supporters of the Republic at the time being. He wants to denounce their “hypocrisy” and what he perceives being the authoritarianism of their leader.

((there’s a mistake at the jedi enclave’s anagrams, it’s DJO instead of DJE))

Who really cares about DOR anymore? They seem desperate for peoples attention. It is all quite embarrassing really.

Funny words from a senator. Are you Hixal? I wouldnt be surprised. Give them a chance, maybe this new leader will be better than Exitium was. I’m not too friendly about DoR either, but i give them a chance to prove themselves that they’ll be better than they were with Exitium

Yes I am Hixal. Strange words you say, or do you mean the galaxy is not used to Senators speaking out like this? You see i am willing to give people a chance, but they have already attacked the DJE.

    • Jack
      February 1, 2012 at 12:50 AM

The DJE can be just as malicious as the DOR… No matter how much of a guise they put up with peace-keeping ways, the actions I’ve experienced first hand suggest that they are not real Jedi at all but power holding force users who only want want “peace” by gaining it through forceable means…

    • Rek'Teka
      February 1, 2012 at 12:58 AM

Well what did you expect, suddenly ally with the republic? They’re sith, it’s in their nature… And besides, when was this attack?

  5. Jack
    February 1, 2012 at 12:45 AM

Oh how I would’ve loved to have ended Exitium myself… Too bad he died before he could feel compensation for his deeds… And now the Disciples of Ragnos are left in the shadow of his death… Since Karma did not treat Exitium the way it should’ve, I’m sure that DOR is ready to pay for their past leader’s deeds….

  6. Senator of the New Republic
    February 1, 2012 at 2:33 AM

The situation with the Disciples is very simple. They have lost there leader and now they are all over the place and desperate for people to give attention to them.

If this is what you think, why are you commenting on this topic? Because you want the same thing, so don’t whine us here about DoR. Senator Hixal, you’re accusing too many people. You accused my company about untrue things, you accused DoR and probably all siths. I’d suggest to put your bum on a chair in your little office and do your paperworks. Going around the galaxy, accusing and insulting people might end bad

As much as I like the believe this is true, the sith are known to scatter for a bit and then come back stronger than ever. They like all enemies are not to be underestimated. In the days before his death DOR struck Dantooine with a vicious attack.

    • General NC-304
      February 5, 2012 at 2:00 PM

Was his death even broadcasted? Maybe this is their way of trying to shine the spotlight on his death hoping someone will care.

It is really funny to hear a sith denounceing the “authoritarianism” of the jedi. The Arch Lord Darth Sea’hal II becoming a champion of democracy…. this is the height of hypocrisy.

    • Jack
      February 2, 2012 at 2:48 AM

You shouldn’t deny the statement made about the DJE by mentioning how bad the sith are, it is simply like denying the fact that your starship is dirty and changing the subject instead by remarking on how unclean a bantha-shit covered speeder is.

    • Shan Connel
      February 2, 2012 at 9:22 AM

The Sith did not claim principles of freedom and democracy so they cannot be hypocrites. He said the Jedi do and so their actions make them hypocrites.

This made me laugh. DoR ran a dictatorship on Bespin and they are a group of evil beings this has been proven. I also acted on the rumors that the Black Nebula were involved in the terrorist attacks and the rumors of them dealing with slavery. And i am not one to just sit and talk… People should know that.

In lieu of this pathetic, political debate. I offer my deepest and more sincere respects to the Late Arch Lord. He was a worthy opponent on our first meeting, and a good friend on our second.

    He shall be missed.

You may continue with your bickering now.

    • February 1, 2012 at 12:50 PM

Ah, Vitari, the ex Krath leader.I thought you have a different opinion about sith next generation.I heared you suffered a great loss. My sinceer condolences for the lost of your son. Sad, no father may burry his son….

      • Vitari
        February 1, 2012 at 2:29 PM

Thank you for your kind words.

As for my views on the late Arch Lord, I try to treat each person I meet as an individual and not judge them by their religious affiliations. Hence my respects for the man, tis no lie that for a while we were enemies but never the less I still respected him and believe his loss will not go unfelt.

    • Shan Connel
      February 2, 2012 at 9:27 AM

”Dear Zeltron, considering the Disciples have allied with the very pirates that attacked your base, I wouldn’t be so quick to defend them. No, not so quick at all. Additionally, the Disciples launched an attack on Imperious not so long ago, in which they lost. Pity.”

Verne would lean back in her seat for a moment, thinking over the article.

”If Exitium did order all of the nastiness prior to his death, it matters not. They’ve had time to justify themselves, and until they do so, Verne maintains her stance on them. I suggest you, Zeltron minx, do the same. It’s the only rational, levelheaded thing to do.”

      • Rek'Teka
        February 1, 2012 at 9:54 PM

Verne, i’m not trying to protect DoR, im against Hixal. There is a difference…

  13. February 1, 2012 at 1:02 PM

I suggest you two to stop this futile argue. You Hixal are a senator and not a boy hanging out in a bar, so i suggest you to go and work for the people which you represent. And you, Rek’ Teka, you should take care your business and profit not argue on holonet. So, guys, stop this and act mature. Is a friendly advice.

  14. DOR Gen. Viper - Rtd.
    February 1, 2012 at 10:47 PM

The former General would lean back in his comfortable chair, not smiling. He activated his comm and spoke –

“I knew Arch lord Exitium as a friend and a damned good leader. Although I may have left the service of DOR sometime earlier, I still consider him my good friend. News of his death saddens me deeply – the galaxy has lost a great leader, warrior and champion for order and stability.”

Only now did Viper allow himself to smile. “It amuses me, however; that in spite of this tragic occurrence, those who consider themselves as holding the ‘morale high-ground’, do not respect the grave occasion but instead use it as a basis for political debate and slandering the Disciples of Ragnos. It is sad.”

He sighs slightly, before responding once more. “May the force serve you well, Exitium my friend, even in death.”

    • Jack
      February 2, 2012 at 2:56 AM

“the galaxy has lost a great leader, warrior and champion for order and stability.'” a backstabber, a violent aggressor, a dark and vile creature that deserves death without honor… Which reminds me, when is this funeral being held? And where?

    • February 2, 2012 at 3:40 AM

“It amuses me, however; that in spite of this tragic occurrence, those who consider themselves as holding the ‘morale high-ground’, do not respect the grave occasion but instead use it as a basis for political debate and slandering the Disciples of Ragnos. It is sad.”
It is tragic occurence for DOR and for you, general Viper! Indeed was a champion of order and stability , order and stability built upon graveyards. How many innocents and opponents killed, your dear friend Exitium? I think if you could ask him, he would say he lost the number.

”It’s just a bit blurry of a line from where I’m standing. Which is ironically surrounded by every single thing I could possibly want in this galaxy, so perhaps it is a bit blurry.”

”My points remain none the less, even though this Hixal.. Individual, is uninformed to say the least, allow me to ask you. Have you received an apology from either the Disciples or the Pirates? It’s doubtful, as I’ve not from either. And until I, we if you will, do from both.. I’ll remain opinionated on these outcasts. My thanks for hearing such out, doll.”

((I’m new to the SWRP community and what-not, just joined TJO on the first. Today was my first run in with DJO as they came and flooded our sim in what you could tell from the start was an assault.

People say they lack RP, but I was refreshed to find literate English speaking players roleplaying. Sure they could of roleplayed out some more, but what I have long since realized is… they’re Sith. Sith are not there to come party and play chess with you. When you see a Sith you should have to be on alert and worry if they’re going to attack.

I personally think keep it up DJO, you’re representing what a Sith should be — a feared warrior full of hatred, not a peaceful warrior who’s last resort is combat.))

      • February 4, 2012 at 11:16 AM

(( Yeah my bad on the DJO, DOR mix up. Was too caught up reading comments as I posted, that I put the wrong abbreviation down. Point still being, Sith are not peaceful, respectful, and calm types of characters for the most part. I do not see why there is frustration (even amongst the TJO members im with) towards the actions of DOR. At some point, people take roleplay too far. You cannot expect hostile beings to sit there and chat it up with you about their life before assaulting you. ))

The two cant really coexist in a civil manner forever.))

      • February 4, 2012 at 3:53 PM

(( This is what happened yesterday. I’d say 4-5 of them, showed up in arms over this article. It was clear from that point they were going to attack. However, people at the end had an issue with it and acted surprised that the Sith came and did not come to chat but fight. That was my point, I understand you can have civilized conversations with them every now and then.

Also again my fault with the DJE and DOR confusion. I understand the difference, and know the two apart. As I said it was simply a mistake of reading & typing in the later parts of the night. ))
