Prospect of Conflicts in Nar Shaddaa

February 2, 2012

Galactic News reporters went in Nar Shaddaa to attend to the regular and famous Hutt meeting.

Nar Shaddaa: The Black Hole Casino was filled again for the traditional “Hutt Night”, audience of the Hutt Council. It was presided by Dartmutta, along with Shaka, Jengaz and Genthen. Nawa, the young majordomo of Genthen assured the organisation for his first time.

General Talus, proposing his force's services

The General Talus inaugurated the audience by announcing he recently came into a lot of resources and started to create “a massive fighting force”, turned to the offensive. This force will be made of clones fully trained to the combat after ten years of grow. This time could even be speeded up to one year, although it was not recommended, due to the Empire of Anoth technology. He wanted to propose their service to the Hutts, however they disregarded this offer, finding the time to wait still too long and preferring to hire already trained mercenaries on the spot.

The Metus Imperia Delegation

Then advanced a group of armoured people and droid from the Metus Imperia. Their vanguard denounced the current state of Nar Shaddaa, which is said was “a hub for criminal activity around the Galaxy” and was “infested with pirates, gangs, and scum of every form.” Then he was admonishing the Hutts to admonish to enact a stricter policy “in order to clean up the mess (they had) created.”As his demand was answered by a burst of laugh from the Hutt, he warned the Hutt of the excellence of his organisation and its main concern to secure the Galaxy without care of any honour or moral code and announced the Moon will suffer of the consequences of its leader’s behaviours. Still laughing, the Hutt were too late when it was about to order arrest the delegation, which left promptly after their threat.

Captain Scarlet

They were followed  by the Captain Scarlet of the Renegade Fleet which reported a space fight recently occurred near the Moon. The Twilight, flagship of the fleet, was attacked by the fleet of the Grand Army of the Republic (GAR), which successfully boarded and tried to take the control. They eventually were repealed with the help of Kabriel Le’Sanit and Shade. The Twilight was however severely damaged and the captain requested additional resource for its quick repair. The Hutt were outraged from this unprovoked aggression and were about to mobilize their elite troops, the Hundred Hands and gather their allies. Nothing is however yet decided, but they will lead a private council to discuss on the matter.

Renn offering the Egg to Darmutta the Hutt

The last speakers were Baby Girl and Renn from the Bureau of Ships and Services. Renn was charged to present a gift to Darmutta the Hutt, on behalf of the Smuggler’s Paradise and from Lady Kia from Dathomir. He brought forward a large box containing a large rancor egg, as “a gesture of her goodwill and a symbol of hope that the mutual trade agreements may continue to benefit both (their) people.”The Hutt was extremely pleased of the gift at the point he went down his podium to see it closer. He sent his thanks the Lady in the care of the messenger. Darmutta left the room, in the hurry to entrust the egg to his beast master, the audience closing time being anyway gone past.

From a correspondant in Nar Shaddaa:

    Flying Rancor’s demonstration
A group of Flying Rancor fans, the famous band recently demised after an explosion in a club of Nar Shaddaa, demonstrated near the Jiramma Hutt beastmaster building. They shouted slogans like “Free the Rancor Child!”, referring to the Rancor egg recently offered to Darmutta the Hutt by Lady Kia… The troop was dispersed after a charge of the Gamorrean guards. They have no reported any prisoners.

how interesting about the point of the smuggler’s paradise sense I have never meet anyone except Baby Girl who I hired on nar shaddaa and not there to deliver my gift. As for this group called flying rancor’s. If they have issues with my actions they are more than welcome to come to dathomir, and speak to me. But I would not promise their safety.

Egg safely delivered, Darmutta happy, I’m paid in full, all in all a successful mission. As for the inclusion of BoSS out of Smuggler’s Paradise, it was Renn who was with me to pick up the egg, cart it out to his ship and keep it safe untill it could be delivered, which he did without a flaw, remember, he was with me on Dathomir. When you deal with “independant pilots” to haul such an important cargo, one that if fumbled could easily mean their early demise, you can expect such old standby tricks as “bait and switch” to insure the cargo is delivered safely, which we did. In the end, everyone profited. Cheers.

Encouraging retribution against the GS by the huts for their brash actions yet again. They can do what they want! GAR doesn’t care, GAR doesn’t afraid of anything.

Of course gar does not care what happens. We all know they are above the law, or at least think they are.The republic claims to to not control them, or more to the point, only control them when it appears they have need for them. The rest of the time they are left to do what they like. It seems to me that the republic can not have it both ways. Either they control gar or they do not.

We did, but apparently the local Kindergarten for Mentally Retarded Children wasn’t willing to let anyone go join DoR.
