Hssiss in the Valley

February 18, 2012

In Korriban, Galactic News Reporters meet Lady Kia, investigating on the presence of Hssiss in the valley of the Sith Lords.

Hssiss guarding the tomb

Korriban: Large and dangerous creatures made their appearance in the Valley of the Sith Lords of Korriban. Workers of the Corellian Mining Corporation (CMC) freed the path to a new area, but when they approached of what looked like a tomb, they were attacked by surprise. The large creatures forced them to retreat. Two of the miners are heavily wounded and the CMC stopped their investigation in that direction. The creatures are known as Hssiss. They are extremely dangerous. They can conceal themselves and infect their victims with a very dangerous “dark side” poison.

Lady Kia discussing with reporters

Lady Kia came from Dathomir with her sisters and their rancors to investigate on this situation, which, she said, caused a grave disturbance in the force in this world. She suspects the Hssiss are protecting an important tomb and wanted to know what the Hssiss were guarding.Using the rancors as a lure, the nightsisters managed to distract the creature long enough to have a sneak peek inside the tombs, although they had to leave before getting stuck by the Hssiss coming back to guard the entrance. It appears to be the tomb of an ancient powerful Sith alchemist, maybe called Hakagram Graus. The presence of the Hssiss and other hints found in the hall suggests the Sith Lord is still sleeping in the tomb.

The tombs have not yet revealed all of its mysteries. Are they valuable enough to worth the danger? Time will tell… maybe.

How could such creatures be destroyed, if they are so big?

Large size does not indicate invulnerability.

But their skin might be bigger, which makes them stronger and harder to be defeated

hmmmm I never said anything about killing them, In fact I have had one a small one for a personal pet for many years, although these are much bigger and seem to have been experimented on

Still, im sure there will be a time when you must kill one to save your life. What to do then? I mean i dont believe that bullets and/or sabers could get past their large skin…

Why do you think I said the coven brought the rancors we use for combat on dathomir with us. If we face something that big then we fight like we do on dathomir against gapping spiders. Sense we have seen blaster bolts only piss them off. But I personally think something very old and historical is in that tomb deeper inside than we have been so far.

Do they have eyes? If so, easily defeated.

You could just hurt them by taking out the eyes…

Eyes are a quick route to the brain in most organisms. This might be what the General is referring to.

Yes, i was thinking about this, but it would be hard to get past the eye and get to the brain. I mean with such huge sizes, the eyes must be big too.

Nah. Take out the eyes with a rocket. Blow its sockets out. Then., if you’re quick, tunnel your way into the brain. Beat it with your own hands if you have to.
