Hutts: Coldness with the pirates, warmth with the pageants

March 8, 2012

Reporters of the Galactic News went in the Black Hole Casino to take part of the Hutt Night.

Nar Shaddaa: The Hutt gathered one more time in the Black Hole Casino and to listen and answers the announcements from the audience. It was presided this time by Belutric, along with Darmutta and Shaka. They were later joined by Wirabo. The translation was assured by Ava Haj’ra.

Pirate Jes'tula Tor'dok talking with the Hutt

Few people took the floor. It started by the pirate Jes’tula Tor’dok. He ascertained Kabriel Le’Sanit, left the Hutt Space for an unknown destination after an argument with an unnamed Hutt majordomo. Kabriel Le’Sanit is chief of the security in the moon, along with being a member of the pirate council where Jes’tula Tor’dok is the elected representative. To show his solidarity with their member, they decided to alliance away from the Hutts. It’ll mean the favourable tariffs are going to end.He also added, the pirates will also turn more to the Sith Empire or the Republic and the Jedi to make business. He stated they already did it in the past.

The Hutt took this as a business decision, and admitted there is good opportunities in the Jedi or Sith spaces. However they requested the pirates had to provide more if they wanted to charge for more; they are not the only ones on the shipment market. Jes’tula Tor’dok however stated their dominant market position before returning to the crowd.

The Leviathan Consortium

He was followed by a delegation the Leviatan Consortium. Led by Teninista, owner of the Pallas Athena space station, they announced the next stage of the Miss Galaxy contest with a pageant for the station in a few days. The ceremony will be followed by a dance party. They invited the Hutt and all of the audience to join the event to have fun and gamble on the favourite contestants. Belutric, a sponsor Miss Galaxy, was pleased new locations joined the contest and emphasised on the fame the organising systems will gain.

The Hutt answering questions

The Hutt were then asked on the return of Grancha the Hutt, assumed dead since a long time. The Clan council was not informed of his coming back. Some of them still believe he’s dead, and may have been replaced by a clone or another Hutt, and rather trust the witnesses of his demise. Others hold back waiting potential future reports on possible business with this Hutt.

To end, Lady Morrigan is collecting informations about the Metus Imperia and also Shaka the Hutt expressed his regret of the departure of Baccus Altus from his position of Chancellor of the New Republic.

Grancha died…a while back. The Hutt council must be smoking more then those oil pipes if they think a dead Hutt’s voice has weight.

Of course Grancha is dead. I believe some people would like to look into the matter further, simply because we’ve had problems with such things in the past. But whom ever this hutt is, he is not Grancha. More than likely is some hutt looking to make a name for themselves and nothing more.
