Incidents in Margin outside the Ceremony in Tython

March 26, 2012

Invited to the Ceremony in the Jedi temple, reporters of the Galactic News witnessed an attack of creatures.

Hostile creatures rush

The Jedi Temple of Tython was under high security level awaiting several important personalities. Notably Jedi Masters from different orders and Representatives of the Republic. Many troopers of the Grand Army of the Republic (GAR) supervised the areas surrounding the temple, alongside Mandalorians of the Munit’kad clan and the New Republic Grand Fleet (NRGF).

Defenders finishing up the creatures

The guests were arriving progressively when approaching intruders were spotted by the sentinel. It was a group of unspecified creatures crossing the river and rushing over the bridge. After a moment of hesitation, the Jedi took everyone in safety in the Temple while the defenders took position. The Mandalorians took the shock of the attack and responded with heavy weaponry, while the GAR and the NTGF formed a line, protecting the evacuation of the guests to the temple. Then they charged the creatures, firing on them. The defenders managed to repeal two waves of creatures, killing some while others fled in the wild.

This attack was later claimed by the Tython Liberation Front in an unauthenticated press release in where they accentuated the little role the Jedi had for their own defense and called again for their withdrawal. The Jedi however were continuing the ceremony as scheduled with the speeches and the knighting. In a second letter, the Front claimed a “group of patriots” recently defaced the Jedi temple covering its front by a Sith flag “at the risk of their life”. This might suggest a possible influence of the Sith.

With the events this last days, the different “Liberation Fronts” showed they could be dangerous. Although it’s still not certain they are popular in the planet.

Perhaps it’s a statement that The NJO mask their actions with the title of Jedi; when really they act as a Sith would. It is not out of the ordinary for Sith to become the political leaders of their planets (An example being every single Sith Empire to have existed). While at the same time, it is against the Jedi philosophy to interfere with the government of the people, especially when that government is fully democratic…

    Bloodshed in Tython

While the Jedi are partying in their sumptuous temple, they leave the defenders be devoured by creatures summoned as reprisal of their cruel regime. This is a disgraceful moment in the history our of beloved planet Tython. This is the time, now to avenge our martyrs and clear our world from their evil religion.

And thus you cover Jedi flags with sith crests right? Clearly you lot failed your galactic history lessons. Granted the NJO barely acts as Jedi should but I’d say your own terroristic actions are as evil as what you accuse the Jedi of.

It is disturbing these events happening on Tython. I have received multiple reports of the jedi taking over and dictating what is to be done and what is not to be done. To the point where they exile, arrest, and accuse anywho who opposes their rules and regulations. The Republic I believe has lost Tython.

Further investigation into this has concluded that NJO is not to be blamed but a key individual working behind the scenes. The name will not be announced as further investigation is under way.

Speaking with a special agent from the New Republic Grand Fleet. She became in charge of investigating The Jedi Order on Tython for possible allegations of treason against The Government of Tython. The concerned citizens of Tython wish to inform The Galactic Senate and The Republic that we the people of Tython want justice against the Tython People and their government. We wish to live on a planet not governed and regulated by jedi both public and behind the scenes.

    We want freedom, not chains!

Just to clear things up,, the NJO has never dictated or controlled political events on Tython, and the NJO has always supported the Government of Tython, but with the Governor suspended from duty pending investigation, and inactive politicians,, the Jedi had no choice but to step in and defend its enclave,as it was implicated by the actions of Governor Rodchester in that he stated that the Jedi Council had sanctioned his un-authorised mining contracts with the Hutt, in a recent Senate investigation the Jedi were cleared of any wrong doing and it was indeed confirmed that the Jedi do have exclusive rights to the Crystal mine on Tython.
The Jedi Council will shortly launch and investigation in to this Tython liberation Front and its actions in and around Tython, the NJO has always upheld the Repubic goal for peace and will continue to do so,, may the force be with you all

As an X-Governor of Tython I can say, that is a total lie. You’re not fooling anyone, Master Mistwalker; nor are the people you control happy with you and your order; hence why they will fight and die to remove you. Now I am NOT supporting these rebellions but they are for a reason, and I do not disagree with that reason.

No one wants a group of religious warriors ruling them, that is why we are a Republic that votes it’s leadership and The Empire is a totalitarian force that kills those who oppose their leadership. You seem to be more like the Empire right now then a true Jedi Order, and it is saddening you believe you can get away with it so easily.
