Rakghouls Speak Out, Give a Glimpse to Their Society

April 1, 2012

Reporters Daana Kira and Rakiko Lowtide were invited to Taris to speak with the Rakgoul General Vrigor to clear up misconceptions about their society.

Taris: As people around the Galaxy fight against what they perceive as Rakghoul infestations, leaders of their society are becoming increasingly alarmed at the misinformation, mistrust, and ignorance concerning them and their society. To try and alleviate some of these problems, General Vrigor asked GNN to conduct an interview so he could explain his people’s way of life to the galaxy at large.

Because of a spike in Rakghoul numbers, as the society has enjoyed great prosperity, a large fleet has been built to take the Rakghouls to the furthest reaches of the Galaxy, expanding and strengthening their Empire. They have also sent several diplomatic ship out to different systems, though their missions haven’t gone well. In fact, the diplomats have been met with aggression and several were killed on worlds such as Susevfi, Yavin IV, and Nar Shaddaa. The Rakghouls were then forced to send troops against the aggressors, though they met with defeat on Yavin IV. On Nar Shaddaa the aggressors have had early victories but the Raghouls are amassing another force with more highly-skilled leaders to engage those that killed the diplomats. In Rakghoul society, diplomacy is highly regarded and they are dismayed that other people don’t share this thought and would rather kill their diplomats rather than avoid war.

Even though the Rakghouls have not met with great success in most of the theaters of conflict they were able to take Susevfi after a long engagement with the Jedi and their forces there. Emperor Krogash was so pleased with his people that he gave a grand ball that lasted for several days and rivaled the most extravagant parties given anywhere in the last century. Lovers of music and dance, the Rakghouls celebrated with abandonment.

As for the stop of war, the General stated that they might come back to the diplomatic table if the others would put down their arms, though he wasn’t optimistic about the chances. They had already offered the hand of a Ralghoul princess to any eligible Hutt leader on Nar Shaddaa, and had hoped the two societies could rule over the moon in peace in harmony. The General was dismayed that such noble dreams were being squashed by those that only speak with the use of a blaster. He even gave examples where young Rakghouls left a ship to go greet and make friends with the locals only to be mowed down by blaster and other weapon fire. He doesn’t understand such hostilities against his people, and wants the others to think of the children before pulling their triggers.

General Vrigor just wanted the Galaxy to know that they are just looking to live with the other societies peacefully, were just looking for new homes for their growing populations, and hoped other would come to understand them. The Rakghoul Empire has a long and illustrious history in the arts, having several master in fields like painting, dance, and sculptor. They have also created several intellects witch have written score of classic literature. The society has also produced several forces users where some went to follow the Jedi path while others followed the Sith. Other have become great warriors and bounty hunters and Rakghouls fill all sorts of jobs throughout the galaxy. One may have been working right next to you without your realization. The General explained that this only proves that they are already living with the galaxy at large and would just like to see the aggression against them stopped.

GNN wishes the best of luck to these misunderstood people, so the next time you see a Rakghoul, just give them a hug, who knows you may just be persuaded to join with them.”

Have these Rahkghouls tried diplomacy with the Leviathans of Corbos? After all the Leviathans are not known for diplomacy by Blaster or Lightsaber…

These are canon pictures of Rakghoul and Rakghoul Infected. I’d like to know how it’s possible to call these Avs that are clearly meant for RP at Necronom VI Rakghoul, and how people are able to distinguish them as Rakghoul IC. I’d also like to know how someone expects us to believe that Rakghoul are capable of speech or even developing an intellect advanced enough to communicate. ))
