Numerous trades for the Hutt

April 5, 2012

Reporters of the Galactic News Network attended to the Hutt Council meeting in Nar Shaddaa.

Issulla the Hutt (left)

Several Hutt received their guests in the Black Hole Casino of Nar Shaddaa. It was presided by Shaka, and Belutric, Darmutta, Issulla, Soo’ga were present. Morrigan assured the translation.

As usual, announcesments of event were made. Shaka announced the application to Issulla the Hutt to the Council, a vote will occur later.

Later in the Night, Belutric announced the upcoming races in Mos Entha, part of the Galactic Swoop Cup, which his clan, the Nasirii is one of the sponsor. He cheered the racers to practice the track and announced rich prices and trophies for the winners.

Also Morrigan recalled the upcoming Fashion Show, in a few days at Secura Vida’s.

Darth Vyrassu (right)

The first guest speaking was Darth Vyrassu. Addressing to Shaka, he ordered commanding another droid batch to be shipped on Utapau and paid for them. Utapau is the new destination, after Kashyyyk plans were cancelled. Shaka tried to make sure the droids did give satisfaction and Darth Vyrassu assured the cancellation were not related to the quality of the droids of the first order, but to an issue with the Dark Lords of the Sith. Darth Sae’hal II began mocking Darth Vyrassu, and the two started to argue. The Hutt offered them to duel for their distraction, but it was declined.

Ayeka Kel and her captive

Ayeka Kel, the new Queen of the Hapes Consortium advanced. She announced they captured a woman having tried to assassinate her and wanted to offer her to the Hutt, thanking them for the Embassy. The assassin was cuffed again and demanded to dance under the guard of a member of the Revenant Armada.

The next speaker was Shiva Vayne, from the Mandalorian clan Tal’galar, offering to trade hand weaponry in bulk. Issulla the Hutt showed interest and asked her Majordomo be contacted.

Messenger droid from Tython

After she left, a TODO service droid forwarded a message, assumed coming from the Tython Liberation Front or their supporters. The droid claimed the people of Tython were oppressed by the current government, which it affirmed are in the Jedi’s pay. It requested the Hutt stop their current trades with Tython, to resume and enhance them “after the tyrants will be removed” He suggested the Jedi did not like the Hutts anyway, but the supporters of their factions will be thanked in the future. On a question of Darth Abyssus, advising the Hutt, the droid confirmed it wanted an embargo, but more support would be welcome. The Hutt were not aware of the Tython internal politic. The Hutt assured are neutral and prefer to honour the agreements, also, they are not fond of embargoes. However the situation is delicate enough to deserve a longer reflection.

Hixal, facing the Womp Rat

Shaka himself has an agreement to expertise for mining and agriculture between Tython and Varonat. This treaty was signed while Hixal Aulus was governor of Varonat. After the droid left, Hixal, present in the crowd was called by the Hutts and came over the grate, surprised. Asked why he was here, Hixal stated he was investigating the Galaxy. Also he claimed his signature on the agreement with Shaka was forged. This apparently upset the Hutt which opened the grid, leaving Hixal falling on the pit. After he stood back, the Hutt sent him a feral Womp Rat. Using his blaster, he managed to neutralize the rat and make his way to the exit. He returned shortly in the casino, yelling the Hutt were cowards.

The Hutt Night ended here, at least the public part; the Hutt retired to their private apartment with some of their guests.

I assure you that grate opening was simply a mechanical malfunction. It is refreshing however, when people such has Hixal do forget themselves and resort to things like public threats. Which, while amusing is not how the republic would like to be represented in hutt spsce, I’m sure.

I can assure you of what happened as i have a recording. As for the Republic i was not representing them. In fact when at the Hutt night i was retired from the Republic.

I went there to show i do not fear the Hutt or their side kicks, such as yourself. Anyone speaks the truth to the Hutt they try to kill them, like with me. That is why they are cowards.

Remember to do as the Hutts say as they are so powerful!

Nobody fears the Hutts. We go to Hutt Night because watching people like you stand over the grate and try to prove your balls are bigger than your brains is better than watching soaps.

”You do not fear the wrath of the underworld? The Hutts only represent a portion of it, doll. But running in and acting like a total moron only guarantees your demise on such a location. You’re sincerely lucky the presiding members did not simply shoot you in the face for publicly threatening them, as Verne would have. Do stick to Republic space from now on, yes?”

If you want to believe you were nearly killed by all means do so. Although, the rest of us will snicker behind our hands, or to your face. Over the shere flights of fancy you must live with every day.

On a different not, it is surprising the reporters did not pick up on the Chancellor attending the meeting, and the what seemed to be a dealing with the leader of the Disciples of Ragnos.

We are usually not reporting what the crowd whispers, but just the audience itself, since we can’t ba attentive at both in the same time.

    hixal :
On a different not, it is surprising the reporters did not pick up on the Chancellor attending the meeting, and the what seemed to be a dealing with the leader of the Disciples of Ragnos.

    Marron Aquitaine :
He knows what he is doing. You may not realize it, but you have seen some of his work in some shape or form. This man represents the people. Hopefully you’ll give him a chance. GENERAL DOWNZ 4 CHANCELLOR.”

    ryanryanadams :
Now I would trust General Downz who has a personal connection to his soldiers and would try harder to achieve diplomacy… one of its most decorated defenders who has put his life on the line more then enough times.
A pity you treat a man who has given his life for The Republic with such disrespect.

    massquesti :
I think it goes unsaid Chancellor, that you have my unwavering loyalty. I foresee a great renaissance for the Republic, and I’m confident you and the passionate members of the Senate can actualize it for those that entrust you with it’s stewardship.

    bebebenaeonswrpsl :
I am proud that the people have chosen wisely in their decision for our next Galactic Senate Chancellor.

My friend, and I use the term “friend” loosely, by which I mean sarcastically, because I think you are not worth knowing personally, in your infinite wisdom you have confused GNN’s “reporters” with journalists.

Whoops, that was supposed to be in response to Hixal, obviously.
