Update on Incidents on Tython

April 21, 2012

On Tython, GNN reporters Daana Kira and Rakiko Lowtide spoke with local Jedi, Lady Acker of some of the incidents happening there.

On Tython, Lady Acker of the NJO was gracious enough to answer a few questions. Though not much is being released to the press at the time, Lady Acker did give as much information as she could.

Lady Acker of the New Jedi Order on Tython.

First they believe that the Tython Liberation Font (TLF) was behind a recent shooting incident. Lady Acker along with two guests were fired upon by an unknown blaster sniper. No one was injured so its unclear if the attack was meant to harm or only to scare, though it was made clear that security on Tython is either lacking or has been compromised by the TLF.

At the Hutt Night in Nar Shaddaa a Zeltron implyed she stayed in a Tython prison where she saw a Hutt frozen in carbonite. Lady Acker said to be unawareness of that case, but believes she should know if they kept a Hutt in custody.

On a final note, Lady Acker just remarked on the comment by the Korriban Academy about true Sith, stating that all Sith meet their fate in the end and their path is a losing proposition.

Couple of things to clarify, first thing the TLF, the specific comment was that they’re able to elude us, and yet are stupid enough to be involved in their activities to begin with. This mixture of skill and target myopia makes them dangerous to live next to, so anyone who thinks they may know a TLF member should report their suspicions before they blow up, gas or burn down the neighbourhood.

The Hutt in carbonite, now I’ve seen the image, it does not resemble any location in our enclave, I commented that if a Hutt were being held (legitimately) the individual would be a prize catch, and thus would be front page news everywhere, I’m checking to be certain that no one is being held illegitimately, much as I’d like to believe no organisation on Tython empowered to make arrests would unlawfully detain someone, I still consider this worth checking and will follow this up.

With regard to the Korriban academy, the Sith philosophy itself is the problem with the Sith, whereas Jedi aim to serve and protect others, the Sith aim to rule everyone, including other Sith, any time Sith work together, it is an alliance of convenience, too much trust and your fellow Sith kills you if it is suddenly in their interest to do so. Even when they are at their most powerful (As Darth Sidious was up to the battle of Endor) they get more and more desperate to terrorise the population under their rule into submission because the instant they leave the throne, everyone and their mum will be out to kill them. You get to the top, you’re in a paranoid existence where anyone with a brain is a threat, your empire gets weaker over time as innovation and research are harmed to make you feel just that little bit safer.

The hard working people of Tython does not miss their targets. The Jedi and their mobs will experience it bitterly. The Jedi will of course not confess publicly the scurvy practices they do in the secret rooms of their temple.

Have you ever considered fielding a candidate in an … What do you call it? … Oh yes: AN ELECTION. Of course you might need to form a political wing, you could do with a catchy party name. How about, the “Loony Tunes Paranoiac Party”? Your flagship policy could be to blame economic downturns on Republic saboteurs and select someone at random to kill.

Reason you’re using all your bombs and poison is because you have no case, and you have no support either.

“Hard working people.” Right. Ever considered you couldn’t get a real job is because you spout your conspiracy nerf**** at every interview? Or, worse, do you put it on your CV so your application never gets to the interview stage?

If that was a secret location, what was a Spicehead being detained there for?

I can fly a Deathstar through the holes in this one.

Wait! According to RyanRyanAdams, “the planet has no constitution or laws.” Technically, all arrests are illegitimate! And where were you when GAR decided to perform elicit an extradition from Tython without approval or authority from Tython or the GS? https://galacticnewssl.wordpress.com/2011/11/26/death-ofa-former-gar-captain-and-hutt-admiral/
