Dantooine and the New Confederacy at Odds

May 7, 2012

Reporters Daana Kira and Rakiko Lowtide traveled to Dantooine to obtain current news on that system.

Lady Adri’lok, Dantooine Enclave head healer

The Dantooine Jedi Enclave (DJE), has become very active in their missions around the galaxy. For instance Lady Adri’lok, head Medtech for the DJE, has been on Ryloth helping heal Twi’lek victims of slaver raids. Currently she’s back on Dantooine helping those injured from raids by the Obsidian Dominion.

To further investigate these attacks by the Dominion, GNN spoke with several other Jedi. Master Neren did confirm that members of the Obsidian Order did cause conflict recently on the planet and were pushed back. The reason is unclear, but the Jedi suspect the Sith tried to probe the planetary defence.

Jedi Masters, Knights, Padawans, and allies of the Dantooine Jedi enclave

Master Neren explained that the DJE had lately traveled to Trandosha at the request of the GAR to help rescue senator Draconis of Callos, though at the moment its unclear why the Senator was being held. However the recovery was a success, though both the New Confederacy and the Jedi claims the other side acted in a hostile manner and attacked unprovoked. The Jedi seem to believe this a continuation of a struggle that has been going on for some time.

A Sith suspect is confronted by the Enclave as they enforce the no-darksider law of Dantooine

Either way, tensions are high between the two factions, leading to quick arrests on both sides of who they consider an enemy. An incident in the background during the interview highlights this, as one who was most likely a Sith was told to either leave or be arrested. He instead fought back and was quickly taken down. But with both sides so quick to arrest, it seems a long shot that any sort of diplomacy will end these conflicts.

The DJE is also keeping an eye on the matter of the Kidnapped Senator Oba and hope to aid in her recovery. Otherwise most of the focus of the Enclave is to protect the citizens of Dantooine.

((What do you mean? We should style “Master Neren”, instead of “Lady Neren?”))

Recitation: Master Neren did confirm that members of the Obsidian Order did cause conflict recently on the planet and were pushed back. The reason is unclear, but the Jedi suspect the Sith tried to probe the planetary defence.

Explanation: The reason is pretty clear, DJE has been helping Aid those who have attacked us and have attacked us ourself plenty of times before, in just about every attack they have been there, if they expect to be safe on their own home planet they shouldn’t attack other planets or interfere in other peopels business. If they are really so surprised then half of their order must not know what the other half is doing.

Addendum: It all started when the jedi on Yavin didn’t want to release a death watch member, that is when the hostilities started, to me that sounds like the jedi started no?

This Death Watch member attacked someone on Yavin and then the rest of his group arrived. THIS is when hostilities started

observation: very strange that the Dantooine jedi enclave helps the Kalway Jedi Order then. Or is DJE an enclave of the KOJ? very strange.

    “[T]he Enclave … enforce[s] the no-darksider law of Dantooine.”

Does this mean I can no longer visit the wonderful jukebox in the bar?
