Wave of Kidnapping in the Republic and Jedi worlds

May 9, 2012

A series of kidnappings occurred over a few days in the Republic and their allies. The targets appear to be politicians or Jedi apprentices. The alleged kidnappers are often Sith, although the situations vary. The motivations behind the abductions are not always cleared.

The table below summarizes the latest of these events.

  • Since few dozen of days, the Senator of Tython, Nasaji Oba, is missing. Her kidnapping was claimed by the Tython Liberation front, which sent several demands, one of which being a recently raised ransom. The negotiations and investigations look fruitless.
  • In Yavin 4, a Jedi apprentice was captured after an attack from the New Confederacy and Sith allies. Her master freed her a short time later and she was injured during her captivity. Without generalizing, Yavin 4 formerly complained of the Sith tendency to kidnap their apprentices.
  • The Senator Draconis of Callos was held in Trandosha for a still unknown reason by the New Confederacy. An expedition of the Grand Army of the Republic and Jedi from Dantooine managed to release him with great difficulties.
  • On Uvena Prime, a long time wanted criminal, Skole abducted and mistreated an apprentice of the Jedi Academy. Skole resisted and was killed by a group sent to recover his victim.
  • Arbitras Rexsus II, monarch from Endor, was kidnapped after a raid on the Moon. He was brought to Nar Shaddaa frozen in a carbonite slab, probably by a Sith called Rellik, and entrusted to the Hutts. These last ones have placed a payment for his release. People in Endor claim he would not survive in carbonite more than a few days.
  • Lastly, Naboo announced the queen Adala was kidnapped by Sith while she was visiting the Jedi of Dantooine. Those of them we asked distrusted the press, therefore few details are yet known. Other sources said the queen was being treated for some sickness while the Disciples of Ragnos violently intruded in the med lab and kidnaped her.

We wish all of the victims to be recovered in the best possible health.

The Senator of Tython was not kidnapped but duly arrested by loyal patriots of our beloved planet, then was duly tried. The Jedi and their Republic refused their support and did not appeal, showing their shared culpability in the exploitation of the hard working people of Tython.

no…it’s kidnapping…but I’m sure you’ll post again and show how much your group is nothing more then terrorists. Do try again when you have something original to add.

Beyond the acts against the Tython Jedi and to some extent the Republic, what is the Tython Liberation Front’s actual ideas for what liberty is exactly? -Even terror has a political goal however when it comes to an agenda of changes for Tython not much is known and for this one cannot discern whether these acts are targeted in a manner of popular uprising as seen on Uvena Prime or if their opposition is correct in the assumption that these are the acts of individual terror conducted by hooligans and bandits? If the Tython Liberation Front has ideas for real change then these must be known however, if the Liberation is merely a Front to commit criminal acts then the reprisals against them would be sensible by any government as such behaviour has nothing to do with Liberation and everything to do with violation of laws that are common to all of the Galaxy’s citizens.

They had every ability to seek aide from The Republic peacefully without any punishment.

Tython is no exception. The People of the Republic live under the yoke of a despotic class controlled by the Jedi. Those have the full hand on everything in the worlds they enslave, they name and demote their valets at leading positions and force people to obey to their hypocrite religion. This exploiters despoil the fruits of the people’s hard work and greedily corner their wealth to live in luxurious temples and palaces. The military power completes the scheme; paid at great expense or made by Jedi themselves, they supervise the people and their insane expansion justify the taxes on the poor people.

It seems as if your political movement was formed by drunkards and mad men who don’t understand what they hate or why. Most of the galaxy isn’t Jedi friendly, however at least we know what a Jedi is.
