Auctions and Trade Opportunities Brought Before the Hutt Council

May 10, 2012

Reporters of the Galactic News went to Nar Shaddaa to attend to the Hutt Council meeting.

Hutt gathered in the Black Hole Casino of Nar Shaddaa to welcome anybody wanting to trade with them. The night was presided by Shaka, alongside Belutric and operated by Morrigan and Ava Haj’ra.

Arbitras Rexsus auctioned in carbonite slab

The first one was the General Necron from the Shadow Sith Clan which proposed to the Hutt a carbonite of the frozen Arbitras Rexsus from Endor’s Moon . He claimed his prisoner was of great value for whoever acquired him and proposed auctions. The Hutt and some other people in the crowd bid to a high price and eventually Shaka got him, under the condition the prisoner was in good health. It is not yet know what the Hutt want to do of him.

The New Confederacy delegation

Angeline Viola from the new Confederacy approached and offered several precious Jedi, Sith, Mandalorian and others gifts to the Hutts as well as tons of food, explaining they were the products of their new wealthy spaceport in Trandosha. In exchange she proposed a trade alliance, adding they would be ready to protect the Hutt interests.

The Hutt welcomed this proposal and the New Confederacy. Both side should meet each other and the Hutt were invited to the upcoming swoop race in Trandosha for the Galactic Swoop Cup.

Then, Jay, leader of the Hutt Security announced he retrieved the item named as a Murr Talisman with the help of Sha’ira and Ayeka Kel of the DJE and Hapan Consortium. The Talisman offered to Darmutta some time ago and supposed to have an influence on the Rakghouls. Jay said he stripped the item from its power and is now returned for display in the Hutt collection.

Solan addressing to the other Hutts

The next speaker was Solan the Hutt of the Vosadii Kajidic, trader specialized in slaves and weapons. He was seeking to join the council and promised to bring some samples next time. The Council will study how good his business is profitable to decide to accept his request.

I believe Jay may have mistakenly called the artifact the Muur Talisman which, if you believe Jedi and Sith, has been destroyed for at least a century.

Quite correct. The true Muur Talisman was destroyed a very long time ago. They’ve found themselves a copy, perhaps.

And wto which a rogue Jensaari revealed at one time to have found anf thus the rakghoul invasions of yavin and Nar Shaadaa occurred. Interesting things happen when you clone multiple copies of yourself while holding a talisman like that.

That’s ridiculous. When you clone yourself, you don’t clone your accessories. Pay a visit to Kamino and educate yourself.

(( I never liked this crazy excise for an RP anyway because plague RPs are way too over done and because it broke Canon. If the story teller who came up with it alaid doesn’t know how cloning works as well then why are they a story teller for our community? ))

((As far I am am concerned it didnt break canon, YES the original Talisman was destroyed by Skywalker, However, the research and development wasnt lost, and it isnt explained anywere in the EU what happened to it. As for the cloning, your right it doesnt work for accessories how ever, not everyone has all the information, it is my belief that each clone made their own, how ever, it isnt clear so dont quote me on that.

As for the Plague part of it, people got to the choice of if they were infected or not, and if they were, they were given a general time line which they could choose to follow or not so it wasnt god modding their character, from what I understand people also enjoyed it. But again this is from what I’ve heard from people))

This whole idea sounds like bantha poodoo to me. Even if one was to create an artifact with such a power it would no longer be named that of Murr any longer, but instead the name of the new creator. There was only one true Murr Talisman, and that one was destroyed by Cade Skywalker no less.

((that was the storyline that the player in question deeloped when he developed the idea for that rp))

Allow me to shed some light on the name issue. No, we are aware that the artifact is not the actual Muur talisman. However, it needed a name and it was similar to the Muur talisman itsself. Thusly we took to calling it that. I suspect this is the root of the mix up.

(( I love roleplay that breaks canon, there is nothing in canon to suggest there is research to show how it was all done, neither the making of the talisman nor the fact how he has the power to turn people or control the rakghouls. This in debates / arguments and claims is called the burden of proof or the onus probandi, the one making the claim has to prove it. I have to agree with Alex here, if you do not know how things work or just want to repeat whatever happened in star wars why are you a story teller? ))
