The Circle of Sources: An information Broker Organisation

May 11, 2012

In Taris, a reporter of the Galactic News met Alex Kardel from the Circle of Sources.

Alex Kardel of the CoS

The Circle of Sources (CoS) is an “information trading network and recruitment hub,” on the Holonet. Proposed jobs might be of course information brokers, but also mercenaries or bounty hunting work, according to the clients’ specific needs. The requested information might look ridiculous or dangerous, the agents will attempt to collect and verify since they’re paid for that. They using various tactics beside simply asking, possibly spying, bribing, prying, however the best allies of the agents are deduction and intuition.

The Circle of Sources is a subsidiary of Alex Kardel and his brother’s company, the Free Galaxy Corporation. It should be a legal organisation in most world, even if some of their agent may have had some issues here and there. Customers interested by hiring their services are asked to contact a contractor, like Alex Kardel or Sihivus Verne or send a message in the Holonet for the CoS and wait to be called back.

I’d like to thank Daana and GNN for taking the time to conduct an interview on such short notice.

To add to this article, the CoS is a long running and often used system open to any and all which acts as an information network, recruiting hub, and the cousin to the more well known Bounty Hunter’s Guild.
It provides an opportunity for those with less steady career paths to find work, and for clients to find assistance. It’s independent, unbiased, and anyobe is welcome to join, for it is not a faction but a system.
(( Search “Circle of Sources” in world or IM Thatguy176 Ball (myself) to join. Hiring an info broker also adds another level of depth to RP as well as gives us something to do. If more people knew about information broker RP, metagaming would be all but extinct. ))

They should all die and burn. Using spies to try and sell info for money. You should all die for being snitches who profit off of others. I wait for the day i see your corpse line the streets. Ur bodies in flames and your blood staining the streets.
