Death Watch voice their positions

May 21, 2012

A reporter of Galactic News met a member of the Death Watch which addressed some of the later news related to his organisation.

Nar Shaddaa: Balancing the long covering of the war by the New Republic and their supporters, Galactic News Network interviewed, with his suggestion, Yorick Vizsla from the Death Watch, aslo known as “Kyr’tsad”. The Death Watch is a part of the New Confederacy, at war against the Republic. They joined that organisation to get a foothold in the Galaxy. They are provided with a home and equipment and direct their “holy wrath” against the enemies of the confederacy such as the New Republic. Within the New Confederacy, Death Watch has a great freedom of action, they are “free to pillage who they please in the name of the Death Watch” beside the member worlds.

Death Watch Yorick Vizsla

The Death Watch lead the confederacy troops into battle. Yorick himself is field marshal and will not deposit the arms until an order from the politics of the Confederacy. They are glad of the allies trust, their mutual respect, and consider this unity to enhance their strength.

Yorick Vizsla confirmed the casus belli against the Republic was the incident on Yavin 4. According to him, the Death Watch wanted to capture a potential mole from the Tal’galar clan. Yorick killed the suspect but was prevented by the Jedi to bring the body back to Trandosha without battle. Reinforcements came and the fight started where the Death Watches and their allies “destroyed” the Jedi’s forces. He claims the story that they were attacking the sick is a fiction made by the Jedi, justifying that, as “real mandalorians”, they would not get any glory in such an action. The suspect’s name remains undisclosed and several versions of this events are running. For the first time, however, someone admitted his direct involvement in a kill. By the way, the reason invoked for the capture of a padawan was to collect information, like they do with other Jedi or militaries.

After this event, many battle ensued. Death Watch confess one defeat and praise more than twelve victories so far, therefore openly questions the military value of the Jedi. They drew first blood, Yorick is certain they declared the war first, even if it does not really matter. Since “no attempt of peace from either side was made”, he believes the war is wanted by both sides. In several declarations however, Republic officials denied they wanted the war.

On the battles in Kamino, Yorick Vizsla affirmed they initially offered them to join the Confederacy. If they accepted they would have kept the control of their world and their military but had to keep the republic off their planet. He said he left them alone after they declared they will remain neutral. He justified the battle after they would have renewed this neutrality: “Confederacy scouts got news of Grand Army of the Republic (GAR) troops on Kamino. We immediately reacted by sending down a party of 4 of our best men. We saw more than 10 GAR troopers on the planet and we opened fire. The Clone Troopers (TCT) ran to the aid of GAR, thus perpetuating rumors that they were housing and supporting GAR.”

At war against the Republic, the Death Watch do not forget the lengthy war they run against the Mandalorians following Jaster Mareel, a Mandalorian of the old time, which they say had “rebelled against his own kind.” They believe they are able to hold both wars and could use the forces of the confederacy against any.

Death Watch is a dangerous organisation, at least for their enemies, Yorick Vizsla warned they “will no longer accept neutrality as an excuse to avoid the war. Anyone found housing republic troops will become the target of Kyr’tsad (Death Watch) wrath.” Starting to organise, the republic claimed some victories. Although the war is made up of many raids and skirmishes which is hard to follow individually.

((Pretty decent conflict so far and has contributed to two detail articles accounting for both sides. It has also helped branch smaller RPs in between))

The attack by the new confederacy on Kamino was a terrorist attack on our people and way of life. Coming to our world and forcing our people to try and submit to their will. We the people of Kamino will not bow down to foreign occupation through force. They need to understand this is not how friendships are made, this is how enemys are made. That they did this to our people, it was in my peoples favor to fully support the new republic and held aid in the war to defeat the new confederacy.

If the new confederacy had not attacked with their allies, things could have been different. But the new confederacy operates using their terror tactics to get people to submit. Kamino will not bow down or be pulled into submission. We will all die before that ever happens.

I suggest the new confederacy ready themselves, as their blood will cleanse the sins they have commited. We will not be terrorized and bullied into submission. We and the many forces coming to cleanse these criminals, will be united against this threat.

    Your days are numbered.

What the kriff did you just kriffing say about me, you little b*tch? I’ll have you know I graduated top of my class in the Imperial Academy, and I’ve been involved in numerous top secret raids on the Rebel Alliance, and I have over 300 confirmed kills. I am trained in guerrilla warfare and I’m the top sniper in the entire Imperial armed forces. You are nothing to me but just another target. I will wipe you the kriff out with precision the likes of which has never been seen before in this Galaxy, mark my kriffing words. You think you can get away with saying that sh*t to me? Think again, pole kriffer. You’re kriffing dead, kid. I can be anywhere, anytime, and I can kill you in over seven hundred ways, and that’s just with my bare hands. Not only am I extensively trained in unarmed combat, but I have access to the entire arsenal of the Grand Army of the Republic and I will use it to its full extent to wipe your miserable ass off the face of the Galaxy, you little sh*t. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little “clever” comment was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your kriffing tongue. But you couldn’t, you didn’t, and now you’re paying the price, you kriffing idiot. I will sh*t fury all over you and you will drown in it. You’re kriffing dead, kiddo.

I have to be honest with you, kriff isn’t a very aggressive sounding word.

The rebellion against the empire ended 226 years ago. This alone screams delusional.

I would have to agree with the Kardel gent here and raise the issue of time, how old would this being have to live for all of this training let alone the active record? , surely even a strong force-user would be pushing past the established norms of humanoid forms of life. Of course this poses a contradiction to the Mandalorian rejection of force use, had this being lived from the New Generation Academy it still would be out-living several generations of Hutts however the issue of training and active deployment solved the source of such life is difficult to accept….
