Nasaji Oba released

June 3, 2012

Reporters of the Galactic News met Nasaji Oba few days after she was released from her kidnapping.

Nar Shaddaa: The senator Nasaji Oba of Tython has now be released since a few days. Her body has recovered from more of her wounds caused by her captors even if her mind still recalls these terrible events. She was abducted in the forest of Tython while she was hunting, by a woman pretending to be a messenger which stunned her, and which was helped by a Wookiee for a time. The woman talked to her on the revolutionary purpose of their organisation, but most of the time, she left Nasaji starving or under drugs.

Nasaji Oba

Nasaji was later carried in Korriban to other captors, the Nharga and Fileema Zinn sisters and their accomplices. They blamed Nasaji for Nharga Zinn becoming a fugitive after the bombing of the Government area in Tython. Their goal was to humiliate her and mistreated her even more than her former captor, deprived her from sleep and beating her on regular basis.

While she was in Korriban she had a visit of Abyssus leaving her a warning for the Republic, threatening he will kill the Hapes people if they don’t leave the Cluster alone.

Eventually Nasaji was sold again to the hands of Sihivus Verne, in Ord Mantell. The Zinns may have supposed Sihivus will mistreat their capture furthermore, although she eventually released her for unrevealed reasons.

Now she’s free and physically rested, Nasaji will be able to retrieve her senate seat. She expect her tortures will be send in jail. The Tython Liberation Front people have hide their idendity, although, the acrobatic skills of the woman would suggest she used the Force. She make an exception and offer an amnesty to Nharga Zinn, which she believe can be rehabilitated. She’ll be under the influence of her sister whom she wants to leave a message:

I know what happened to your family on Iridonia. I know how you and Nharga were both orphaned due to war. I know about Nharga suffered a miscarriage and the death of her lover at the age of 14. This is why she drinks. After leaving Iridonia, Nharga and you weren’t able to find help or opportunities to better yourselves. But you are farther down the path than Nharga. You are beyond help. Something has died inside you and there’s no way to ressurect it. But Nharga still has a faint glimmer of hope. Push her away from you and to a place where she can get the help she needs before it’s too late. Don’t drag her down with you.

Nasaji Oba and Reek

Nasaji bravely wants to keep living like she did before, not wanting to succumb to the terror the entity which held her try to impose. In Nar Shaddaa, she even met Reek, one of their captor associated to the Zinn, with an ambiguous outcome.

Sadly, she might still remember this dramatic experience for a long while.

Sihivus Verne wasted little time in returning me to Tython after Reek handed me over to her. We immediately left Korriban on her ship, the Teal Masquerade.

The Zinn sisters should not be approached by civilians, especially Fileema Zinn. She is a ruthless individual with violently antisocial tendencies.

I didn’t like the way that Reek fellow looked at and spoke to me while I was a captive. I can’t be certain but I think he wants to rape me.

Sadly, I still don’t know much about the TLF members who held me captive. The woman in charge took great pains to conceal her face. She did speak Huttese a time oir two though.

((The Republic was thinking about trying to liberate Hapes from the Revs. But then the Confederacy attacked. So now we’ve got our hands too full to think about it.))
