Announcements, Deals, and a Marriage at Hutt Night

June 7, 2012

GNN editor, Danrick Shadowstar attended the latest Hutt night and made the following report.

Nar Shaddaa: The Hutt held their periodic public audience to encourage business and speak about political and other matters on Nar Shaddaa. Majordomos Morrigan and Nawa hosted the event as Hutt council members Shaka, Jengaz, and Belutric met the guests as they came forward.

Getting married at Hutt Night.

At the beginning of the night Veka came before the Hutt to make a public announcement of proposing to get married this evening to her fiance, Ava. Ava is the cousin to Darth Sae’hal who also present for another matter and she agreed to marry Veka. Darth Sae’hal encouraged the marriage and asked the Hutt to quickly find someone to do the ceremony. A call was made for someone who could marry them and later in the night, another who had come for other business, Captain Sky performed a quick ceremony, marrying the two. The happy couple then left quickly, but joyful to begin their new lives together.

Zach Rodchester making the announcement of the Republic bounties.

Next up came Zach Rodchester of the NRGF, who wished to warn the Hutt not to get involved with the New Confederacy’s struggles. Mr. Rodchester was told that the Hutt would stay neutral in the conflict, their goals were business not ideological. Mr. Rodchester also announced that the Republic was putting bounties on what he describes as Tython Liberation Front members for the Great Hunt. He named Uda Nant, Wirah Nasrei, Nharga Zinn, Fileema Zinn, and a Zabrak by the name of Reek as the ones having a bounty placed upon. He also said that Tython would be open to Hunters searching for these individuals and they were wanted alive to stand trial in the Republic for the kidnapping and torture of a senator.

Baby Girl speaking about the Galactic Swoop Race.

Next came Kaelinn also known as Baby Girl to speak about the upcoming races in the Galactic Swoop Cup. She stated that the Cup had been a huge success but only has four races left. The next one is to take place in Kamino, followed by one in Bakura, then another at an unidentified location, and ending on Nar Shaddaa. Several prizes are lined up for the last races a celebration is planed after the final one.

DOR members before the Hutt Council.

Next Darth Sae’hal II of the Disciples of Ragnos (DOR) came before the Hutt to make an appointment to discuss trade in private between the council and the Empire Reborn. He also came to offer Sith artifact, and amulet, to the Hutt that was created by Darth Exitium, father to Ava who was not at all pleased that he was selling her father’s treasures. Shaka bought the artifact as a wedding gift for Ava.

Captain Skye before the Hutts.

Next Captain Sky of the Renegade Fleet came forward to invite the Hutt to take a tour of the completed capital ship known as the Victoria. A celebration will be held after the Kamino swoop race for the rebuilding of the Victoria. The Hutt also agreed to enter into talks about the ship building of Venator class capital ships by the Renegade Fleet. Shaka stated he would bring his parent, Jul’gaa the Hutt, brother of Darmutta in on the deal. The other Hutt also wished to view the Victoria to see if they should purchase ship of this class.

Captain Vhiran Vulen offering his services to the Hutt.

Next a succession of Captains, Captain Vhiran Vulen of the Sneaky Wampa and Captain Darkstar of the Dreadedcame to offer their trading services to the Hutt. Shaka suggested that a race be held for candidates wanting to work for the Hutt to see which ships were the fastest and whose captain offered the best service. Everyone seemed to be interested in this idea and announcements should come forward for other ship captains to enter once its organized. Captain Darkstar also gave VIP passes to the council for them to come visit his establishment known as the “Hung Snitch”.

Captain Darkstar also offering his services to the Hutt

Lastly Shade of the Hutt security made an announcement that the first meeting of the Nar Shaddaa Fight Club was to be held following the Hutt audience and will continue to be held in the future. They will have talks about Fight night, try new things, and have fun sparring with one another.

Seeing as how I run the great hunt, I’d appreciate if these bounties are brought to me rather than just being advertised.

The Republic has not come to myself or the Bounty Hunters Guild with any information on these bounties, or even their existence. And they seem to have forgotten to mention anything at Hutt Night other than that the bounties exist.

A bounty doesn’t get taken up if there’s no reward for it, and the BHG can’t keep track of bounties meant for the great hunt if they aren’t contacted.

I’d also like to add that I appreciate that Zach Rodchester thought of me when he was trying to find a way to link the Confederacy, the Tython Terrorists, and various crime sprees and such together.

But as it stands, his logic is wrong. Which is probably why the council laughed at him when he mentioned that.

I don’t recall having any involvement in the Hutt Rebellion. If I recall, the late Kabriel Le’Sanit was responsible for that uprising.
As for the TLF, I’ve no involvement with that and find it a laughably amateurish attempt at propaganda.
As for the Confederacy, I’m an ambassador. I’m a representative and diplomat, not a vice-president or some grand galactic mastermind.

Although if the galaxy wants me to go and pretend I’m some grand mastermind, I suppose I can pretend I am.

“Mr. Rodchester also announced that the Republic was putting bounties on what he describes as Tython Liberation Front members for the Great Hunt.”

Okay. First of all, the people you’re linking to the Tython Liberation Front aren’t part of that group. We BOUGHT your Senator from the TLF. In fact, we were supposed to pay 30 million credits to the TLF but we stiffed them for the second payment. We also suspect the TLF were the ones who put poor Uda in a coma as retaliation for not getting all their money. So no, we’re not part of the TLF and your intel is flawed, just like everything else about the Republic, Mr. Rochdester.

“He named Uda Nant, Wirah Nasrei, Nharga Zinn, Fileema Zinn, and a Zabrak by the name of Reek as the ones having a bounty placed upon.”

Wirah Nasrei? You expect to find us but you can’t even get my name right. It’s EIRAH Nasrei. Eirah Nasrei, female nautolan, aged 32 years, green skin with dark spots. Come and get me, you Republic squid kriffers. Neener neener neener!

“He also said that Tython would be open to Hunters searching for these individuals and they were wanted alive to stand trial in the Republic for the kidnapping and torture of a senator.”

What a great plan! We’re not on Tython but go look for us there anyway everybody!

Meanwhile, I plan no trips to Tython in the near future, Mr. Rochdester. But hey, maybe we’ll run into each other by accident on some other planet and I’ll have the opportunity to hold you hostage the way we did with the Senator. I’ll even give you a free haircut, i.e. forcibly shave your head.

And finally, no we didn’t torture the Senator. What we did was deprive her of enough food, water, and sleep. Occasionally she’d run her mouth too much and then we’d have to quiet her down with a good thrashing. And oh yeah, there was that pelvic exam Nharga forced on her to determine if she was a virgin before we sold her into slavery. But we’re too civilized to torture her. :p

Zach would just shake his head and sigh “hmm…your threat of holding me hostage would be a scary one…provided my homeworld wasn’t kessel…My childhood and teenage years wrern’t spent in a forced labor prison camp with my parents/cellmates. That I wasnt a part of a miltary squaron made up of smugglers mercarines and other assorted scum….that my first command wasn’t part of a task force that speiclized in hunting priates and slavers in the outer rim…as well as survining…but just barely the extreme torture that is ssi-rukk entenchment…watching my freinds all die..working for the hutts and being allinged wiht other criminal factions before my return to a republic uniform…yeah those threats would be scary if none of those pervious fats about my life weren’t true”

        @Zach

Oh, spare me your sob stories you little green-gutted worm. I don’t care if you’re scared or not. To be honest, I prefer dealing with hard cases.

Mmm-hmm. So you withheld food and water so she would be constantly reminded of the threat to her life, deprived her of sleep so she was half bonkers while hungry and thirsty, beat nine shades of faeces out of her any time she snapped from hunger, thirst and lack of sleep, and forcibly stripped and spread her out causing her to anticipate being raped any second.

      But you didn’t torture her.

Think your lawyer will be forcibly sewing your mouth shut for the trial. Not me using the force to predict that, that’s just basic common sense in cases such as yourself.

        “But you didn’t torture her.”

Oh, of course we tortured her and we had fun doing it too, you jedi whore. When I said we didn’t torture her in my earlier comment I was just being facetious.

And shouldn’t you jedi kah-niggits be out hunting the TLF on Tython? They’re the root of your problem, not us. Then only reason we gave the Senator such a hard time was because of the way she spread lies about Nharga bombing Tython when it was probably the TLF all along. If she hadn’t done that, we probably wouldn’t have bought her from the TLF.

Besides, one of your fellow mirialans lays in a hospital in a coma right now and we think the TLF had something to do with it. Poor Uda, my old friend. *sighs* I’d really like to see you get them. So do something productive for once, avenge your countrywoman from Mirial and leave us alone.

“Think your lawyer will be forcibly sewing your mouth shut for the trial.”

Oh, I’m not going to need a lawyer, dearie. That’s because you’re not going to bring me in. Seriously, you folk are getting so desperate that you’re recruiting bounty hunters to do your job for you(and incorrectly filing the paperwork even then). That’s just sad. Maybe you all should just give up and get low status jobs more suited to you abilities. I hear there’s a lot of job openings in this galaxy for ditch digging, cleaning toilets and disposing of animal poop in publ;ic parks. Hahahaha! XD

We’ll be getting to the TLF as evidence and tip-offs and any other opportunities to build our cases arise.

Now, regarding being investigated for the bombing, I have yet to receive any of the files I requested for that one, so I currently can’t form an opinion as to whether or not Nharga was treated unfairly by the investigators of that case, but you have to concede you haven’t exactly taken the moral high ground have you?

Appreciate you cheated the TLF out of half the money they demanded, nice one there, I’m sure they’ll be throwing their guns out their pram over that one, but, rather than immediately release Nasaji, you continued to detain and torture her, and sold her on, going so far as to indecently assault her to see if you could increase the price for re-sale.

Your attitude in your statements don’t support early release or granting you the opportunity to apply for parole. Something you want to think about in case you have overestimated your ability to evade arrest.

“…but you have to concede you haven’t exactly taken the moral high ground have you?”

Compared to what happened to Nharga as a result of Oba’s actions, she got off easy. ‘Nuff said.

        June 13, 2012 at 4:32 PM

Okay, had a look at the case file, and the case is still open.

If Nharga can offer a satisfactory justification for threatening the family of a member of the event’s security team to gain entry, I’m all ears. Otherwise, I see no grounds for Nharga to claim she was treated unfairly. The extortion of entry into the event alone is a crime and is supported by enough evidence to near certainly convict. She would need to justify that in a legal sense to get off.

This is of course a separate charge to the bombing in which she is a very strong suspect and frankly could be convicted based on the strength of the case that could be presented in a trial now.

The people of Tython will thank the glorious sacrifice of the Zinn family, fell under the unjust strike of the Jedi and their infamous servants. If ever they fell in Tython, a monument will be risen to celebrate their action.
