Zeltros’ Famous Tourist Industry Back with Vigor

June 10, 2012

As increased trade and traffic comes the Zeltros system, GNN reporters Daana Kira and Rakiko Lowtidetraveled to this tourist hotspot to investigate the increased economic growth.

Zeltros ready to serve visitors once again.

Zeltros: Known galaxy wide as the entertainment capital where every wish and dream can come true, the system though has had a backward slide because of a major economic recession followed by a bloody conflict. For centuries the empathic Zeltrons have been the forefront of erotic pursuits, partying, and vacationing in general. However after several centuries their lust for imports outgrew dramatically their exports which caused an economic collapse, leading the normally upbeat, hedonistic Zeltrons to engage in a war which killed untold numbers. Finally the crisis has subsided and new monarchs, Kash and Viera Lars have taken the throne.

With the new monarchs in place, economic reforms have been institutes which has stabilized the system, leaving the Zeltrons to repair the damage caused by the crisis. The current King, Kash Lar and his wife Viera took the throne upon the written declaration of the last monarch who had died at the outbreak of the economic crash. The Zeltronswishing to avoid anymore of the crisis, which has been especially hard for this empathic people, agreed who heartily on the decision and have united under their new monarchs.

Kash and Viera Lars leading their planet back to stardom.

A new hope has taken a hold of the people as controls on imports and exports have been made to make sure another economic collapse doesn’t happen. Much of the tourism industry except the most exotic technological parts have been rebuilt and open once again for Galactic visitors. Also Zeltron’s art and off-world entertainment industries are also in full swing. The Lars have used not only their wealth but the Monarch’s personal treasure troves to help bring their planet from the brink of the crisis and they are proud that the people have rebuilt and are optimistic that their goods and services are of an even higher quality.

The King and Queen are also encouraging their people to form business not only on Zeltros but galaxy wide. They are also seeking to join the Confederacy of Independent Systems (CIS) to expand their economic base. They’ve sent several diplomats to speak with the leaders of the CIS and are looking forward for a future relationship. Also in the works is a large swoop track as the Monarchs wish for Zeltros to become part of the Galactic Swoop Cup.

Celebrations are planned across Zeltros in the coming days to commemorate this rebirth of Zeltron culture. Also a large party is planned when the swoop track and largest cantina, Paradise II, are completed. Kash and Viera Lars extend a welcome to all the galactic citizens to come and take part of what made Zeltron so famous.”

The Confederacy has yet to receive such diplomats but I look forward to their arrival on Trandosha.

Sorry to say this Alex but the CIS is not you and your group it is a trade group that has been around for a long time. Also as a former President of the CIS I would personally like to meet with them. And to you Alex you have been nice to stay out of my business so let’s keep it that way.

As far as I’ve heard, the CIS from the Clone Wars and its splinter organizations have been long dead. The New Confederacy is sometimes called the CIS, because it is a confederacy of independent systems, although it is not the same government. The CIS they’re referring to is us, a government that isn’t dead, which I happen to be ambassador of.

        Is your head on properly?

Any group of Independent systems could essentially be called a “CIS”. This incarnation of the CIS are made up of systems controlled by Deathwatch, BlackDawn, etc not the ones controlled by the NTF, in the past. They are a united group of parties and have done so with a purpose.

To add to my previous comment, I believe the keyword here is “former”. Past tense.

The Confederacy is a government which supports free trade among its systems. Technically it does handle trading, just as other governments do.

    • June 11, 2012 at 9:32 AM

Actually a Confederacy is a Coalition or League. Oh and a Coalition/Confederacy is just an alliance. In your case, you are just using the word incorrectly by having it set up as a government.

To think that I was under the impression that the battlefield I fought on against the Republic used conventional warfare… NOW I must be steadfast and use proper grammar and utilize necessary diction to win the war-effort! Intriguing, I’ll begin mobilizing my whole extensive vocabulary to win this front!

Well, it’s one thing to have a single soldier without any leadership not need good grammar or vocabulary, but the leadership of the faction and it’s very own name, be used incorrectly, is just silly.

Don’t you have a job to do other than from what I’ve seen? I know most governments hire agents to patrol the HoloNet for anything involving their enemies when they execute their orders; the plans they carry out, of course, are developing ways of underminding the opponent in anyway, from saying a witty comment to actually having an intelligent argument. Whatever the cause, it is getting old real quick.

Any career does not have you working 24/7 unless you are the Chancellor himself, to forget that shows you have not had a job in quite a long time. And speaking of intelligence everything you said has been the opposite of just that, so it’s amusing when you insult my intelligence and then talk like a man who is still learning how to speak basic.

The Confederacy of Independent Systems was created a long time ago to gather several worlds in the Galaxy on a common treaty focusing on the trading, the mutual respect within their members and the rest of the Galaxy. I’ll like to highlight we have no federal military and don’t waste time at doing wars all over. This partly explains we are not currently under the spotlights.

The organisation is not related to the New Confederacy recently created in Trandosha, the New Trade Federation or a CIS from the time of the Clone Wars.

We’re indeed willing to work together with other benevolent organisations. Sadly, too many of them limit their activity to military buildup. If you are interested to know more, feel free to meet their members, such as Lady Kia in Dathomir or myself in Zonama Sekot.

No one is insulting your intelligence. In fact, we many peoples of the galaxy often praise your great intelligence.
This is entirely true, and not at all me lying and trying to hide the fact that we peoples of the galaxy often consider you worthy mocking material, considering you so often go out of your way to embarrass not only yourself but the office for which you work on the holonet.

Hey, you can’t do that, only I can do that. If you keep doing that everyone will catch on and I’ll have to think up some other way to talk over idiots’ heads.

Coming from the man who made a huge grammatical error in their post, (a run-on sentence, located at the end of the recent paragraph). Thanks for trying though! You’ve given me more effort than all of those soldiers under the Repubilc who have tried their hardest to take me in. Bravo!
