More on Superweapon and Republic Constitution Breaches

July 13, 2012

Galactic News collected more information regarding the Superweapon and Link’s Algoma’s case.

More sources are talking about Susevfi Super-weapon project. Even if Susevfi’s officials we met either refused to talk or just deny and the Senators claims everything is classified, it is more and more obvious the Senators talked about this topic and was aware of the project. The information started to leak in the Galaxy, even in the Sith Empire, even before the media published a story.

Discussion with Hixal Aulus

Lately Hixal Aulus told his version. He was earlier announced dead by an elder from Varnoat, although he claims he had to resort to fake his death to shake off bounty hunters. Hixal was formerly the governor of Susevfi 4 and the Senator proposed by the planet when they applied to the New Republic. He states Cirden Fang, the former leader of the Jensaarai Order wanted him dead. Cirden Fang himself was announced dead aboard of the destroyed Prometheus with his crew long time ago, however Hixal believe he is still after him.

Anyway, Hixal said having left Susevfi because of the control the Jensaarai, and their leader wanted him dead because the information he had on the Project Exodus, the actual name of the Superweapon system. This weapon would use a set of ship they would use a cover to make believe it was destroyed at the request of the Vice Chancellor Ta’kara Darkmoon. This confirms Tython’s Senator Link Algoma’s speech, which Hixal did not know in the detail, telling the Vice Chancellor and the Chancellor demanded the dismantlement of the weapon a while ago. However Hixal said he had information they faked the dismantlement.

In this speech, Link Algoma said the bad feeling he had about this weapon, fearing it fell in wrong hands. Few days later after he was imprisoned in Susevfi, he was charged of assault against six persons. Nobody in Tython wants to talk about it. The Senator were not moved to have one of them imprisoned and instead blamed him for revealing classified information. Hixal claims the evidences are shared only between Vincent, the current Jensaarai leader and the Vice Chancellor, making the detention illegal.

Vincent Harrakut (centre) and Lita Nieuwendijk (right)

In Susevfi Jensaarai Officials did not want to talk. The Senator Nieuwendijk refused to comment on the Superweapon or Link’s case. Asked on the procedure, she said he was arrested by Mandalorians of the clan Munit’kad on Susevfi and the warrant was handled by the Saarai-Kaar and the council of Kaars. When recalling her the constitution of the republic required a Grand Jury to be met before imprisoning a citizen, she stated informing the Senate of the warrant was enough and this procedure was endorsed by the Vice Chancellor. For her, nobody in the Republic beside the press is looking for more answer. She threatened to sue for libel anybody claiming they’re holding a senator illegally. It’s still unknown if publishing the truth is a valid defense in defamation trials in Susevfi.

She also claimed the Mandalorians and the Jensaarai will supervise the trial. It will be a judgement by tribunal. The judges will be Shaka the Hutt, Mesh’la Naast of the Mandalorlians and Hoggil Torok of Uvena Prime, who all are not citizens of the Republic, although they will judge a senator. Let’s hope anyway these foreigner judges will know the laws better than the locals; however since the New Republic’s constitution actually forces a trial by jury for criminal cases, they might want to directly refer to a legal court instead.

So far, several people of the Republic had shared opinion, positive or negative, about this weapon or the senator’s case. However no Senator of the Republic, beside Link, expressed publicly on the weapon. Expectingly the next Senate session would be more informative and we’re still hoping to meet some of the key people of this story.

However, we learned the Vice Chancellor Ta’kara Darkmoon was reported missing. Several Jedi were called to help the investigation but the trails are weak. A pool of her blood was left on a window of her office. Let’s hope nothing wrong happened to her, even more since the Chancellor himself is still in sick leave.

I must say, I am shocked to see who will be in charge of the trial. As for Susevfi, It is obvious something is going on as they do not want to talk about such a thing because they fail in intelligence to cover something like this up. They imprisoned a women Armande over questioning of the Project and now Link… The New Republic needs action and appoint someone as temporary leader of the Senate until the truth is revealed about the Vice Chancellors where about’s.

The current set of leaders are needed in this time to show true leadership.. forget the ancy events you get invited to and focus on the real issues.

    * Reads the article and shakes his head whilst doing so *

It need to be said that Susevfi tried to frame Hixal for the Vice Chancellors death. They should be ashamed of themselves for getting so desperate. Susevfi should be forced by the Republic to cancel this trial until solid evidence is provided against the Tython Senator Link.

With all this, where is the proof, going on tell me where is the proof that this weapon does exist, I mean is it on any file? is it on any record, where are the blue prints? tell me, tell us? further more maybe you did have something to do with it… and your just trying to cover your tracks… after all your a corrupt little pawn in a large game of chess… either way good luck, after all its oh what is the word CLASSIFIED! that is what link is being charged with in the republic in any case… you all idiots…

    • July 13, 2012 at 4:48 PM

You would have to explain the purpose to classify something which wouldn’t exist.

“For her, nobody in the Republic beside the press is looking for more answer.”

I’m a Republic citizen and I want answers about this.

“She threatened to sue for libel anybody claiming they’re holding a senator illegally.”

Hi, I’m Narise Enabi and I hereby claim that Link Algoma is being held illegally and I’m making this claim publically and in print.

    So, sue me.

It doesn’t matter does it the trials tomorrow your a bit late to call folly… and governments are allowed to disclose information based on trials at their own leisure. The judges also have all the information, how do I know this, cause I’ve talked to the judges apparently GNN has not and neither have you. The information was given out to the people who NEED to know it. YOU dont need to know anything so go back to what you were doing, and let the governmental system work.

It doesn’t matter if you call it a trial or a folly. You’re currently holding a Senator of the Republic illegally, without respect of his rights safeguarded by the Constitution.

Your tribunal will met illegally, still according to this same constitution. It will have no other choice than freeing the abducted Senator, or the so-called judges will have to be taken to the court as accomplices of kidnapping.

Actually anybody of the authorities of Susevfi, including their own senator, can currently be wanted in other worlds of the Republic for this crime.

Blah blah blah blah blah…. Take it up with the Vice chancellor… who issued the warrent, who wanted him detained and return to susevfi for trial. All of this was authorized under the REPUBLIC Vice Chancellor who may I remind you is the current ACTING CHANCELLOR. and the voice of the entire republic. So shove that down your through .

The Vice Chancellor is an executive power, not a judiciary one. The constitution does not grant her the right to imprison civilians and even more senators without the due process of law.

Are you just claiming the New Republic is turning to an autocracy under her rule and Susevfi people are going to be her henchmen?

And to further more blah blah blah your statement… I shall present the constitution!

The rights of the Class “A” Citizen of the GSoNR.
I:10 In all criminal prosecutions of a GSoNR citizen, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the planet or system wherein the crime have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him/her; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the assistance of counsel for his/her defense.

And finally Link Algoma is NOT a senator so stop refering to him as such…. as stated by the following law of your consitution…

Article 3, Section 2, Subsection I: Senators of the Galactic Senate.

I:1. Each world will allow to be represented by one elected Senator of their choice in the Galactic Senate. No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the GSoNR, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, with no outstanding criminal offenses or have an official as well as unofficial dealing with GSoNR Dangerous Non-Citizens, shall be eligible to the elected as Senator of a member world. Senate candidates must also undergo screening by the GSAC before they can be officially permitted into the Senate.

You forgot the I:9 stating no “citizen shall be held to answer for an infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a grand jury”. You’re claiming no jury was held and a different process occurred. This simple article makes Algoma’s imprisonment illegal.

The I:10 you quoted insists to a trial by jury, right which you are denying to Algoma.

It’s uncertain why you’re quoting I:1, unless your theory is Algoma is guilty before your trial parody, then is no more a Senator.

Whatever is the reason, the laws of the Republic are flouted.

No his jury is those on the tirbunal who have nothing to do with the case and there for are impartial. Everone on that planet probably wants him dead and there fore would be biased I see it as a smart move. The evidence was submitted he was arrested and informed of his crimes, during the trial people may speak up and present evidence to those on the Tribunal. Its just like every court case but the judge and jury are the same people and they still have to come to a unanimous decition. As for the I:1 its because he has criminal charges and wasnt actually elected in to the office but rather let it by the former senator. There for the charges would knock him out of the race till he was proven guilty or not.

Alright the former senator of Tython attacked people, perhaps he did not come to the planet with the plan to do so. However, no matter what the events at took place where he did not have to open fire. A person can simply walk away, should they choose to do so. He decided to open fire, the result was property damage and imjuries. As a result he is being held pending his trial, this is not a scandal, it is a simple example of cause and effect.

There is no super weapon, aside from people gossiping about it. The words super weapon are uttered and every one crowds around to get a look. In this case the senator of Tython was on the planet to visit not to poke around for weapons of mass destruction. He is using this as an excuse as to why he was on the world in the first place.

Three foreigners would be a Jury able to judge in the name of the Republic? You’re already breaking so many laws you probably don’t care of his non sense.

Figure… Now you’re even confessing you’re aware you’re manipulating the elections with your illegal arrest.

I’ve broken no laws first off, second off dont claim to know who I am, who I work for, or my affiliation, I’m stating the facts, that link algoma was charged on 6 counts of assault, 6 counts of attempted murder, 1 count of terrorism as defined by susevfian law, 1 count of destruction of republic property. he has broken the law miss jane. with these charges by the count of the consitution he cant run for senator period. the investigation is probably over. I’m sure if you talk to them before the trial they will more then willingly give you what evidence they have. As for me confessing its what the facts point too. I’m not confessing to anything. and this is all a way of manipulating the electoral system then they’ve done it by the books.

  10. July 14, 2012 at 3:28 AM

Found guilty or not guilty Mr.Algoma should not be recognized as a candidate for Senator or be involved in the New Republics political scene. He has proven that he cannot represent the New Republic or his people.

Acting Chancellor or not, the office does not grant them the the power to circumvent the Republic Consitutuion…which seems to be the case here. In fact, I do believe that if the Chief Justice gets involved, he can overturn any pronouncement of a Chancellor or Vice Chancellor if said pronouncement violates the Constitution.

I am reading through the evidence of the supposed attack from Mr.Algoma. So far it is looking like susevfi were the ones who wanted a fight.
