A Discussion with a KOJ Master

September 15, 2012

On Yavin IV, GNN reporters Daana Kira and Rakiko spoke with a KOJ master and her padawan.

Yavin 4: Master Kali of the Kalway Order of the Jedi was gracious enough to speak with GNN. Having joined the Jedi in Yavin 4 after leaving a disbanded Jedi Order on Kashyyyk, Master Kali is now busy training the next Jedi who are eager to learn.

Yavin IV has seen a relative long period of peace despite a few attack conflicts with the Disciples of Ragnos (DOR) and other Sith individuals. Master Kali attributed those attack as a just individual Sith trying to prove themselves and take on a Jedi and not a full-scale aggression, though the Master declaring she had recently been injured by the head of the DOR may indicate otherwise.

Off planet, the KOJ still engages missions in helping the Republic as well as serve those in need where they can. She herself declined to comment on specific situations such as those on Coruscant, but did state that the High Jedi Council would meet soon to discuss these events. Master Kali spoke in high regards of the High Council stating that it has brought the enclaves together and is helping them to act as one unified front.

Hopefully GNN will be able to speak with individual High Council members soon.
