New Fel Imperium Opens New Base of Operations on Tatooine

October 5, 2012

GNN Reporters Daana Kira and Rakiko Lowtide traveled to Tatooine where they were given a tour of the new NFI base.

Moff Shadow of the New Fel Imperium (NFI) was proud to show GNN their new base of operations, built-in Mos Espa, Tatooine. The had given up the smaller building they had been using and moved into now what he described as the largest building in the sector.

Still providing security for the Hutts in the area, the NFI has also been in conflict with other paramilitary groups such as the Revolution though details on those operation are kept by Moff Red who was unavailable for comment at the moment. In any even, MoffShadow said they needed such a large base with a large contingency of troops to be ready for any incident.

Still finishing the base, the NFI has already moved in several AT-STs and other equipment. The base already has its defensive weaponry in place and Moff Shadow said they would enforce a no fly zone over it. Most of the trooper dorms, for up to 500 soldiers, and operations rooms are also finished and in working order. The base also has area open to the public where they can come to request help or seek enforcement services. Also once the shield generators are on-line they will have a safe haven to come to in case of a disaster of some sort.

Finally the base has a state of the art private landing area for visitors of the NFI or Hutts or anyone needed high security while visiting Tatooine. The area is well protected and large enough for medium size ships to land.

The NFI continues with their patrolling of Mos Espa and surrounding areas against attacks from Tuskens and other factions, as well as providing security for the Pod Racing events and other events as necessitated by the Hutts or the Imperium itself. Most recently they’ve been involved in the crashed ship of one of the Hutts and providing relief for the strong sand storms that can occur. Now they have the base and equipment to back up these activities.

Rumors of impoverished children who roam the streets committing criminal acts are, quite frankly, disturbing. Perhaps the New Fel Imperium would be willing to address some of the city’s social problems now that they have settled into their lavish establishment.
