Allegations, Poetry and Mandalorian Gifts at Hutt Night

October 11, 2012

GNN reporter Daana Kira attended the latest Hutt Night.

“The periodic audience the Hutts hold for the general public to do business with was held in the Black Hole Casino on Nar Shaddaa. This evening was hosted by majordom Nawa and attending from the Hutt Council was Shaka, Issula, Mit’lar the Hutts who were accompanied by Ge’ta the Huttling.

Darth Sae’hal before the Hutt Council.

First to come before the Hutts was Darth Sae’hal of the Disciples of Ragnos (DOR). He was asked to appear to answer some questions to the Hutt. Shaka inquired him of where the remains, particularly the memory cores, from human replicant droid known as Zach Rodchester, governor of Tython. The governor had been destroyed in a bombing on Dagobah and from what appears was owned by Shaka. Sae’hal deflected the question stating that the droid remains were still being looked over and would be returned, though reminded the Hutts he was still a prisoner of war.

Sae’hal instead said he mainly came for trade and to offer his services to the Hutts and Inquired about the Admiral of the Revenant Armarda. He wanted the Hutts to explain what they were going to do about their Admiral’s allegations against the Galactic Empire over a fraudulence Republic war plan against the Hutts that had surfaced. Shaka suggested he find the culprit or tell the council who was behind the plan. Darth Sae’hal implied in a speech about Sith and power that Abyssus himself or the Sith Empire may behind the plot to push the Hutts and the Republic into war.

The poet dropped to face the Rancor.

Shaka told Sae’hal not to push the council and to hand over the droids memory cores. Instead the DOR leader withdrew his trade agreements with the Hutts, which resulted in Shaka stating that fine and he looked forward to the credits the DOR now owed the council for breaking the agreement.

At that moment a member of the audience stepped forward to recite a poem for the Hutts, only to introduce the Galactic Empire’s Emperor, Kulith Laan. The man then began reciting a poem for the Emperor and was subsequently dropped in the Rancor pit below the floor.

Gar’lundi Tr’zch before the Hutt Council.

Next came a mandalorian, Gar’lundi Tr’zch Alor of the Tr’zch Aliit and owner of Tr’zch Heavy Engineering bearing a gift of Ujj Cakes for the Council. The Alor asked the Council for a private meeting to speak about business. The Council agreed and with this last guest Hutt Night was over.
