Polemic on a Peace Meeting

October 20, 2012

Galactic News was invited to a peace meeting by the Minister Tea from the New Republic. The Empire refused the press attends, but later they gave their version of the event, very different of the Minister’s…

A peace negotiation meeting started in Florrum between a delegation of the Galactic Empire and the New Republic at the initiative of this last one. The Minister Tae Aichi represented the Republic and invited the media to attend. Although they were denied by the Empire.

Keeper One (blure)

Later in Kuat, Keeper One from the Imperial Intelligence Bureau deplored the attitude of the Minister Tae. According to his version, backed by an hologram of the event, which he said unedited, the republic minister “offered a deal, that peace would resume if we left Coruscant with Republic aid. As this is nothing but an Imperial surrender, we denied. She then threatened to bomb innocents within Coruscant, in order to cause damage and make the Imperial presence leave.”

The Imperial dignitary said such a thread pushed the Empire to start to evacuate the citizen, to safer locations in the planet. They even considered a withdrawal to prevent the death of innocent, before assuring the plane will not fail under just a threat. On the battle for the planet, he said there will be no winner if they continue, but “the innocents of Coruscant will surely lose.” He said to ignore why the media were barred from the meeting, but the Imperial having decided so should have had his reasons.

Minister Tae Aichi

Contacted on Bengat, the Minister Tae was shocked by the thread of potentially killing billion of people the empire attributed her. She assumed it was propaganda. She said no recording was agreed of the event and justified her good faith telling she invited the media to witness the negotiation. She brought her demission into play if ever such an allegation can be proved. Although she didn’t take notes, record and had no aid during the meeting. Without detailing she said the meeting was about the Empire leave of Coruscant, but not about their surrendering. Another meeting should occurs and the media would be hopefully welcome.

On another topic, the Prime Minister Tae fell personally concerned about the withdrawal from Naboo considering the leave from the union as a “grave mistake.” She consider meeting the Queen at highest priority.

Priority above the handling of Tython case, under the Imperial control such as Coruscant. The Empire not having answered her request on negotiation about this planet and she considers they’re not interested in talking. Apparently from many Dignitary of the Republic, the wars in Coruscant and Tython appear to be disconnected even of they are against the same opponent. She added she considered the citizen of Tython as heroes of the republic for engaging in such a spirited defence.

Emperor Kulith Laan hologram

Independently, the Emperor Kulith Laan explained his view of the situation on Tython through holographic projection. He said “the mission to eliminate all traces of the airborne biological weapon have proven fruitful.” The Empire is dismantling the military facilities even if their progress are delayed by the harassment of the insurgents and rebels. He said being confident being able disarm Tithon in the long run for they cannot be used to endanger the situation in Coruscant. Once done he will return the governance of the planet to its people, with an option to appeal for full Imperial membership, even if he found this option unlikely considering the acts of its insurgents.

The Emperor also considered the Republic is unable to negotiation and his Empire would not sit idly under the threats.

This two versions doesn’t look reconcilable, and it foretell difficult negotiations in the future, at least without tier party witnesses.

I am still hopeful for peace talks to continue, or rather, start up under good faith. After the good news of the Victories on Coruscant today, I am open to negotiating a withdrawal and surrender of forces on Coruscant that ally themselves with the Sith and the Empire. Of course, I do not call for surrender of the Empire and Sith as a whole, that would be rude.

The Empire has written you off of the list for peaceful negotiations Minister Aichi. As of the last meeting, with legitimate proof that seemingly slipped through this report and was clearly not focused on. Go ahead, go and ask the Government of Florrum, the building was sold by the Revanites recently, and they took over it’s operational capacities.

The peace talks with the Republic will go no where with a Minister who only ridicules and threatens a faction and the innocents who choose to exist under their laws.

I have neither ridiculed nor threatened the Empire in any way, shape or form. and I’m more than willing to hold further negotiations with you provided there is a press presence at said negotiations so that nothing maybe misconstrued or falsified.

Then please do explain… *Keeper One turns a holo recording on*

“I don’t want to either, but the Republic is ready, willing, andable to employ any meeans necessary to retake the planet. and personally, I like Emperor Laan as a man, i’d hate to be breathing in his ashes the next time I set foot on the planet.”

Just a friendly comment in a peace meeting?

And yes, I do have my personal browser settings sent to alert me each time I’m mentioned by a news service.

((I rarely does that but I added a part I forgot on the article on Tae’s respect to the citizen of Tython, balancing her current limited care. It was so late when I wrote the article and it uses several sources, it was hard to keep the plan fully in mind))

I do not think any future talks will end well if one party or the other is not happy with whom they have been sent. The first would be to find parties welling to deal with one another, and this is clearly not the case here. It seems to be, that other talks should be under taken with other parties present if any thing is to be done.

The credibility of what this lackey of the empire is saying sorta went out the window by: Not allowing media to attend the talks and that, that fact ‘should’ be ignored.
It should be noted that the credibility of his claim is thus Zero

besides, no holo recording devices were seen by myself at the meeting, and I am sure that the reporters that were turned away from the meeting will vouch that no equipment was present after they left. Besides, I’ve spoken enough in that specific uniform that manufacturing such a thing for any purpose would be quite easy. I am quite well documented by this News network and private surveillance, so any recording of me could easily be created with sufficient technology.

So I would have to say that this is a simple fabrication.

The Republic’s failure at to hide their own atrocities and threats from the public and their continued insistence that “Of course, these things are forgeries, of course, we wouldn’t threaten to destroy civilians in mass, we would never do that! it’s the Empire trying to frame us!” The evidence of these talks are not a forgery, they are all too terrifyingly real. People of the galaxy: this is the true face of even the noblest of the Republic. And this is precisely the Imperial negotiators walked out on the peace talks.

The Empire will not negotiate with Terrorists. Not under any circumstance.

The Galactic Empire cannot back up their claims since they did not allow reporters into the peace talks. Therefore, the Republic soldiers and citizens would not possibly believe the words of the Empire until they have legitimate proof. I suggest next time to play it smart and actually allow reporters into your delegations, so that we in the galaxy can see that this was not possibly forged in any form or fashion. Words can be made, recordings can be forged, I would suggest the Empire try better next time.

And here we are again. No matter what The Empire says, these people will claim that it’s not true. They would have the galaxy think nothing said by The Empire is any way accurate, even when it’s coming from the mouth of their own diplomatic minister. Of course you’re going to claim it’s a forgery! Who would not claim it is a forgery if they heard such shocking words from their own people? Who would not be so deep in denial? But mark my words, when the galaxy begins to burn. You will all see the republic is holding the torch and standing next to an empty can of petroleum. And The Empire will be here with an extinguisher. I only pray it is enough.

You know full well that the Galactic Empire would even deny claims if the tables were switched. You would even have your own citizens in the Empire believe that any words that come from the Republic are not in any way accurate. So, I would check yourself who is the one that is actually holding the torch, and the galaxy burning. As it was the Empire who made the first move, not the Republic.

The recording and the record speaks for itself. No matter what you or your Republic allies claim, the truth is already exposed. The galaxy knows your true face. simply claiming “it’s a forgery” is not good enough. Prove it’s a forgery. We have shown the evidence, it is up to the republic to disprove it or provide counter evidence now.

Without a neutral third party present at the scene, the Empire’s history of propaganda speaks for itself, and this firmly falls into that realm. The recordings have been analyzed and have been deemed too low quality to a verifiable state exactly what the source of them is. But It is clear that the recordings cannot be verified as genuine to any known recording device capable of holography. Minister Tae had brought reporters, but your representatives were the ones that sent them away.

No, CNN verified the recordings as true using two sources; one from the Empire, one from the Florrum’s government. Nice try.

Unless Florrum mas microscopic surveillance cameras, none were present at the meeting site. And the same recordings that are being talked about were the ones that the Republic promptly examined. I assure you, having been investigated for these claims, it was indeed unpleasant, but they were not found to be of a verifiable quality that rules out tampering.

You people point fingers at each other and wonder why no one trusts your governments. If you said things admit it. It would make your look better to do the honorable thing then to be a liar. I believe you are just trying to do the “cya’ syndrome that everybody suffers from. You said it and realized it was wrong afterwords. There is no fault in that. Florrum has cameras everywhere. In the mining shafts in the housing units and in the city? Why because people are paranoid because of things like this.

  13. Lerina Desri
    October 23, 2012 at 7:53 AM

That in no way can be possible since reporters were not allowed at the scene. So again, these recordings are in all fashion forged and cannot be proven because for the final time that I am going to say it, reporters were NOT allowed at the scene, thus a neutral third party was not there to help back up the Empire in this claim. I have launched an investigation on Minister Aichi concerning what was said, and have found no evidence to support the Empire. Besides the fact that Minister Aichi has no authority or power to even come close to holding up to that threat. So this topic is done and over with, and if the Empire keeps dragging it on, then they are the ones who need a real grip on reality.

The Republic continues the lie… even when the evidence is verified they hope as long as they drown it out everyone will forget their slip up. Well I’m not going to let it down. I’m going to speak up for my brothers and sisters in arms put in danger by the Republic until the end of my days.

The tapes have been verified by Karissa Andross of the Corelllian News Network. THAT is the end of the story.
