Clash with the GAR and NFI

October 27, 2012

Reporters of the Galactic News Network discussed with officers of the Grand Army about recent incident in Bakura.

Combats were observed in Mos Espa, Tantooine, between several military faction, including the Grand Army (GAR) stationed in the planet Bakura. According to the officer Snoop, a conflict started after the New Fel Imperium (NFI) stormtroopers shot on a transport of the Grand Army and engaged the combat after the crash. The GAR patrol was eventually extracted and taken back home. The toll of the skirmish is unknown, but probably light. Snoop denied the usage of explosive during this incident.

Later one of the leader of the NFI went in Bakura to plead for peace, but the council decided to reject it because of the initial attack. They would however remain neutral toward the NFI for now.

On the current objective of the Grand Army, Snoop stated mainly as of recently has been to protect Bakura and its cities. They are also involved in the Galaxy convince others to resort to good, and expect to reach peace one day. The General Wraith added “the Grand Army of the Republic is prepared to combat corruption and evil on all fronts. Whether the enemy be in space, or on the ground, we are prepared to find them and destroy them. Let that go for all enemies of Freedom and Democracy.”

So let me get this straight.

You refuse to have peace with NFI. But after they attacked you, you’re deciding to be neutral towards them for now- i.e. not at war, i.e. at peace with them.

    Sounds legit.

Sounds like a matter of semantics to me. Peace has a positive connotation that a relationship is favorable. In this case, neutral would appear to mean ‘not shooting at each other’. I dunno, maybe I’m wrong and it really is just that silly.

I hope you are aware by now that most of what I say isn’t really meant to be taken seriously, so your constant swooping in to respond seems somewhat overzealous. Unless you are eager to waste your time as a busy civil servant, then by all means chime in on everything every idiot on GNN says.

But while you’re shambling around here, what is the opposite of war? You’re a Jedi right? So you should know this one.
