Shiva Vayne to Reclaim Title of Overloard of the Death Watch

November 14, 2012

GNN Reporters Daana Kira and Rakiko Lowtide met with a member of the Death Watch on Taris.

On Taris we met with a member of the Death Watch loyal to the previous overlord Shiva Vayne, who had gone missing after a battle with Vurr Vizsla who took the title himself. According to this member, Shiva Vayne has now returned and is on a campaign to regain control of the Kyr’tsad also known as the Death Watch. They are also making the proclamation that all enemies, dishonorable mandalorians, and lazy galactic citizens alike are to feel the wrath of this renewed Death Watch.

Death Watch member announcing the return of Overlord Shiva Vayne

According to this Death Watch member the Galaxy is growing weak while people like Vurr Vizsla take advantage of his clan, family and comrades. She said that Vurr abandoned the Death Watch and turned on his family in pursuit of person power and gain, therefore he should now be an outcast of this organisation.

Now Shiva Vayne has regained the trust of many of her supporters and is prepared to end the life of Vurr. There will be no negotiations or mercy just death for the man that turned his back on his family.

As for others, she said the Death Watch has no hostilities against “real” Mandalorian clans. If a Mandalorian is true to his roots and their way of life, then they have no concern from the Death Watch.

In conclusion she had this to say on behalf of the Death Watch “Keep yourselves in check. Live a life of self-discipline, honor, and loyalty. One slip-up, and we will come for you. No longer will we sit and watch out kind and this galaxy grow weak. If we have to light a fire under the citizens, so be it. Shiva Vayne is happy to do so literally. When the attacks begin, close your eyes and sort out your thoughts because death will be your only redemption.

Over the coming weeks, GNN will try to reach Overlord Shiva herself for comment.

you can change the title all you like, you’ll still meet your end at the hands of a real Mando’ad.

(( I’d just like some feasible explanation as to how Shiva survived being blown up. Quite literally blown up, bits and pieces on the ceiling and junk. ))

((We didn’t know or didn’t recall she was assumed death, otherwise we’ll have asked the question. Anyway notice it’s just a claim she’s back since we have not seen her or the effects of her politic. This can be handled IC))

(The Mandalorians burned the body though, there was a whole RP where we identified her, had someone try to break in to steal the body, fail and then we burned it and scattered the ashes)

((The whole RP didn’t go according to plan or plans of the player behind the character, from my understanding. Either way, that isn’t to say the death has been voided. She wasn’t blown up…and it’s Star Wars. There are plenty of ways someone can come back. Few players do only because most play invincible characters.))

This is interesting news. Shiva Vayne had a slug-round right between the eyes before she ‘fell’ from a five story building in the Undercity of Nar Shaddaa with nothing on her except her undersuit. How do I remember this; it is because I was the one who finished her off in single combat.

After she was thrown off the roof, a group of A’denla Kad’s acolytes dragged her in. What they did with the body is unknown to me, so they either disposed of it, submitted it to a rather crafty group of engineers to rebuild her, (highly unlikely though, considering she was dead for a while before she was thrown off, since I had to treat my wounds which were severe), or gave it to someone who knows the art of necromancy or other forms of resurrection. Point is; I made sure this one was dead, so either she has risen from her shallow grave or these ‘Mandalorians,’ atleast what they call themselves, conceived these plans for their hidden agenda..

We cremated the body, we still have the urn. Whoever this person is it’s not Shiva, Shiva is dead.
