Velmor Queen Addresses her People

January 4, 2013

Velmor: Queen Thalia Janick gave a public address where she formally spoke about the incident that occurred at the Museum. A week ago several armed figures had entered the Museum and stole several artifacts. A young museum worker was killed during the robbery.

The Queen said she couldn’t express the sadness she felt of this loss and the guilt that she feels for opening the museum and not going over each item personally. She feels that having “dark” artifacts in the museum brought this on and will review the policy of including them in the museum’s collections.

Furthermore the Queen stated she’ll personally hunt down everyone involved until each and everyone of them is brought to justice. A recording of her speech is included below.

‘A band of unidentified pirates raided the museum of Den Velmor’.

How do you suppose the museum came to be full of all the stuff it was? How do you suppose it was possible for all of those objects to have been donated to it? You don’t suppose that Jawa artefact was found down the back of someone’s sofa, or the sith robe in someone’s basement. All of the things came to be in that museum because, at some point in time and in some place in the galaxy somewhere was raided by a band of unidentified pirates.

Having a dark artifact in the museum is not responsible for this raid. Vanity, ego and greed, however, is.

Pretty sure it was the people who stole the stuff.

Well let us hope who ever does end up with those artifacts has some idea how to care for them. Careless use if such things is far worse than stealing them in the first place.
