Axion Empire Prepares for War with Bakura

January 15, 2013

GNN Reporters Daana Kira and Rakiko Lowtide spoke with several individuals on Ando Prime about recent events with Bakura.

Recently the Axion Empire, headquarter on Ando Prime, have completed their first stages of deploying a droid army. A droid by the designation of Reaper has been named General of this army, whose completion may not have come soon enough for the Axion Empire, as war between it and Bakura sounds inevitable.

Axion leadership speaking about their communication breakdowns with Bakura.

Tension has run high between the two factions since a Twi’lek by the name of Vizzal was captured by Imperialists on Bakura. The Axions claimed she had been arrested, though wouldn’t release details as to why or why. Bakura itself was upset since their sovereignty had been invaded and one of their citizens taken; they’ve categorized the event as a kidnapping and the relationship between the two factions has deteriorated since.

Axion leadership stated that Vizzal had been apprehended by a member of the Empire without revealing the reason. They did say though that the operation shouldn’t have been done and the officer was being disciplined. He however left the Empire with his captive in tow and their whereabouts are unknown now. Furthermore, Axion leaderships stated those other members involved in the abduction were acting justly as they were being loyal to the now apparent deserter.

The Axion Empire sent an Ambassador to Bakura who met with the Prince. The meeting was unfruitful and deteriorated in almost violence as talks between the two parties broke down during the discussion of Vizzal. According to the Empire, the Ambassador returned to Ando Prime stating that the Bakurans wanted a war. It seems that the Axion Empire has accepted this as the only recourse. Now military buildup can be seen around Ando Prime and the Imperial assert they’ll be able to face Bakura’s troops, possibly made of the Grand Army (GAR) if they join the conflict.

GNN hopes to speak with the Bakuran royalty and GAR soon about the matter.

”Something of the sort. To declare war upon another for simply being correct, is something so very silly. Should any attempt to declare authority within another’s territory, and stand by their mistaken decision.. Verne would dare say them new to political matters.”

To declare on Bakura, is well pointless, to be honest. Clearly this empire and I use the word loosely simply wishes to try and throw around what weight they think they have. It does provide a slight amount of entertainment to the rest of us though.

*The Soverign logo of the Bakuran Monarch would fade in as the holo message transferred into the Image of the Queen.*

” I find it funny as to how un-civil they claim the negotiations went. The Ambassador and my Son held the meeting in front of myself and my council. The ambassador claimed Bakura had no right to know what was happening and that they would not return our citizen. Talks of claiming the citizen resulted in the Axion threatening the life of my Monarch. Such talks of their Emperor slaughtering the Matriarch of Bakura is not something the Council took lightly. This is why they were asked to return the citizen or declare themselves an enemy of state. Bakura has been peaceful for many years under my reign. It is not my wish to bring war to my people. With the support of many other factions through out the Galaxy, Bakura has adhered to more security. The Grand Army is also ready for deployment. I give the Axion one last chance to back down and save the lives of many. Bakura’s Sovereign would not take authority on the Axion land nor should they ours. The war planned by the Axion is a blood thirsty joke. The leaders do not wish to be neutral. Last time i checked Ambassadors were not one to directly talk for the Emperor. There for couldn’t declare war. Or is that just my many years of structural practices fooling me? I call for the Emperor to come out of hiding and face the issue face to face.”

*She would say as the sound would decrease in volume and the holo-image cut out.*
