Beultric Speaks Out On Turmoil in the Hutt Council

April 19, 2013

GNN spoke with Beultric about recent events following the chaotic Hutt Night.

“After the events at Hutt Night where Shaka the Hutt made a declaration of control of the Hutt Council and the assets on Nar Shaddaa, Belutric who has led the Council for several years, left for Tatooine where he’s been recovering from injuries he received. He’s’ currently being administered to by Oonadaba the Hutt and his followers, though he stands by his accusations of Sith trying to control the Hutt council and that Shaka needs to follow Hutt tradition.

Belutric also contacted Darmutta Jiramma Dlugacz the Hutt, of the Jiramma Clan for help with the problems in the Hutt Council. Darmutta is an old and well-respected Hutt and helped form the Hutt Council and is the uncle of Shaka the Hutt. Belutrics main concern is that the council has been hijacked by the Sith through their puppet Verne and the backing of Shaka. Darmutta seems to have agreed with Belutric that things have gotten out of control but seems to give Verne and therefore Shaka another chance at bringing harmony back to the Council. His solution is to test Verne’s loyalty and have the conflict handled between the Hutts be decided by Hutt law and traditions.

Its unclear at his time whether Shaka wished to mend fences with Beultric as he gave an order to his security to kill Belutric if the older Hutt returned to Nar Shaddaa. Asso Shaka seems to have much of the non-Hutt support and may not believe he has to make any compromises, espicially to a Council leader he said has failed to show up to meeting or lead the council for several moons.  However Belutric seems to still have the backing of the other Hutts and his words do hold some weight as to the great number of Sith who work with or beside Shaka on Nar Shaddaa, though his accusation that Verne is actually a Sith and probably a puppet of a more powerful one is not confirmed at this time.

Hopefully GNN will be able to speak with Shaka and others to help bring closure to this conflict.”

The fat slug thinks he still leads the council after having left the galaxy (or so he claims himself when he decided to leave) I dont know why anyone on the council would trust him to lead it seeing as he has left the galaxy and its spotlights numerous times. His roles on any council or planet (and his clan) have remained vacant and ignored by him while he was gone. His ’empire’ has crumbled and this is just the sad mercy plea’s of a hutt trying to grasp on to his imaginary criminal empire and titles.

I don’t always agree with Faardor, but when I do, it’s fairly obvious

”Allow a small retort. I run one of, if not the most successful criminal organization of modern times, and never have I worked under anybody during my position. Now,allow us goes over the facts.”
”An interesting fellow has served as advisor to the Councils for some time, and his name is Darth Abyssus. You know, the title of Sith? The same group of people I’m accused of being ‘puppet’ of?”
”I tire of the allowed stupidity to flourish. Should you wish get anything on the record, I suggest speaking to Verne directly, reporters.”

As Belutric fled the casino. It is clear he stepped down from his postion as head of the hutt council. One does not flee for ones life and claim to be the victor, that is insanity. I have yet to see any one actually speak in favor of Belutric, perhaps people see him as the useless corward he is.
