Lady Zav/Zyrah Kidnapped

December 18, 2013 6 comments

GNN reporters Daana Kira and Rakiko Lowtide met up with UrZuric on his quest to rescue Lady Zav.

Landing site on Oricon

Our previous encounters with UrZuric was when he was head of the ODSL (Order of Dark Sith Lords) who had taken control of territory on several worlds around the galaxy. At that time he was known as Darth Oblivion. However as we spoke with UrZuric on Oricon, now it was clear he was more like himself when we spoke with him while he was head of the OJO on Onderon.

UrZuric gave an explanation. The leader of the ODSL had been a clone of him, which he recently killed on Coruscant to bring his imperial expansions to an end. With the death of their leader the ODSL seems to have come to an end as well. This incident, he said, was the result of of his interactions with Master Moonsoo of the KOJ several moons ago that left his mind split. Lady Zav tried to “cure” Zuric by cloning him but because of the impending destruction of the OJO the process wasn’t perfected leaving the clone who would become the head of the ODSL and the real UrZuric who was taken to Voss.

Zuric with allies as the prepare to search for Zav.

Lady Zav herself was defeated by the clone and reborn as Lady Zyrah who co-ruled the ODSL. At the destruction of the ODSL Zyrah fled with the what was left of the dark council to reform the New Order of the Sith, but was recently kidnapped by an entity best described as a Dread Master. Though the entities reasons aren’t known at this time.

UzZuric finally finding peace in his mind on Voss, though leaving him separated from force is now on a quest to free his once love. Helping him is the remainder of the New Order of the Sith and his son Xahertsa. He also hopes to gain support from the Jedi, though has un-easy truce with them since he feels they dropped the ball to help Zav or the OJO previously. How this will end is anyone’s guess and what the plans of this new entity are only time will tell.”

Imperial Inquisition Prepares to Make Their Mark on the Galaxy

December 8, 2013 9 comments

Following the fights on Yavin IV, GNN reporters Daana Kira and Rakiko Lowtide spoke with the Sith order involved in the attack.

Meeting with the Inquisition in the hangar of their flagship.

In Deep Space: Aboard a large flagship, members of the organization known as the Imperial Inquisition spoke with us following their campaign on Yavin IV. Making themselves known to the galaxy now, the Imperial Inquisition is the umbrella group of several factions. including the Sith Serpentine Order, the Sith academy known as the ROTH, the Grand Maelstrom Armada, and the Imperial Corps known as the Imperial Enclave along with a special forces legion known as the Valor Legionaries. These factions  make up the Imperial Inquisition who claim to be the only true Sith left in the Galaxy.

To back up their claim the have amassed an impressive force of troops and Sith warriors who are backed by a large navy, which they intend to unleash on the galaxy in their bid for total conquest. They plan to start with traditional Sith areas along with other territories they claim belong to their ancestors but will then continue with their campaign to bring the entire galaxy under their control.

Members of the Inquisition

Beginning their campaign were the missions on Yavin IV to reclaim artifacts from the Jedi the Inquisition claim rightfully belong to the Sith. Following a conflict with the Jedi, a conflict the Inquisition claims to have won, several artifacts were first reported as taken. The Inquisition even backed these assertions stating they had the artifacts in custody and they were currently being studied. However, other reports from the fight indicate that the Jedi along with a Gray Jedi order were able to reclaim the major artifacts, so at this time its unclear exactly what was taken.

Also reports indicate that a prisoner was taken from Yavin IV, and assertion that the Inquisition backed once again and claimed to have a Jedi in their custody. He will be placed on trial for his actions against the Inquisition though his current condition is unknown as his custody was classified.

The Inquisition explaining their plan of conquest.

As the Inquisition makes their presence known, it is very likely that further campaigns will continue to be conducted at the Jedi and other forces including Sith organizations that the Inquisition concludes to be on the wrong path such as the orders currently stationed on Byss. They plan to conquer these, according to them, “fake” Sith, though if they denounce their ways they will be brought back into the fold. The upcoming weeks will tell what the effect on the Galaxy will be by this war machine as it moves from system to system.

Several Announcements at Hutt Night

November 17, 2013 Comments off

GNN Reporters Daana Kira and Rakiko Lowtide attended the latest Hutt Night.

Black Hole Casino, Nar Shaddaa: Once again a sizable crowd attended the latest public audience given by the Hutt Council known as Hutt Night. In attendance were Shaka, Oobajudda, and Apex the Hutts. Sihivus Verne as well as Hutt staff such as Shaka’s majordomo Morrigan, and head of Hutt security, Jay, were in attendance.

Several Announcements being made at Hutt Night.

Starting out the night was a discussion between the Hutts as to their current business transactions. The council seemed please with their individual profits and Oobajudda gave a summary of his current business ventures. Dabbling in several sectors his most profitable are in the spice, chemical, and drink industries. Not only providing medicines to the medical sector, but his industries also compounds custom chemicals for several purposes, including recreation. With this expertise his family also owns a profitable winery, whose products are sold galaxy-wide.

Shaka also told of his recent ventures into the geological sectors and offered the other Hutts a partnership to begin mining for different resources in their territories. The others seem to agree and this may open up a wealth of jobs in those areas. Morrigan was tasked to draft the contract of any finds.

Also in the beginning stages were talks amongst the Hutts and Miss Verne about the formation of galactic events such as the Great Hunt. As Miss Verne is head of the bounty hunter guild, its very likely that another Great Hunt will take place and announcements should come as soon as the event is set.

Oobajudda also announced his attentions to start trying to unite Hutt clans across the galaxy to form a larger and more powerful Hutt Empire. Several members of the audience and the Hutt Council were doubtful that such an arrangement could be made, with the independent culture of the Hutts and their tactics to expand profits at the loss of their fellow Hutts. However, Oobajudda didn’t seemed swayed by the nay-sayers and only time will tell if his efforts bear any fruit.

Next to come before the council was Jay who wished to talk on some security matters. His first request was to clarify the standing of the press at the Hutt Night event, since Tiro the Hutt had made announcements at previous gatherings that the press should be barred. Shaka the Hutt stated that since he owned the casino and wished for the press to attend they would be allowed. If other Hutts disagreed they would have to take it up with the entire council to decide on the matter. However, he cautioned the press about what to report on as certain elements may not take kindly for their business to be aired.

Secondly Jay made the announcement that the Nar Shaddaa Security facilities were almost complete and that announcements to recruit additional security personnel are being sent out. There are several openings and those that are interested should contact Jay, Morrigan or another security personnel to begin the application process.

And with that last announcement, Hutt Night came to an end.

Largest Gathering of Hutts in Hutt Night History

November 11, 2013 Comments off

GNN reporter Daana Kira attended the latest Hutt Night.

Black Hole Casino, Nar Shaddaa: A large gathering of Hutts descended upon the casino’s stage to hear from the public on possible business ventures. Most likely the largest group of Hutts assembled, the gathering included Tiro, Jaco, Nerous, Azalus, Slama, and Magus the Hutts, Several other unidentified Hutts were also present. Also attending were Sihivus Verne, Jay who is acting head of security, and several majordomo’s such as Morrigan.

With so many Hutts in attendance, it was inevitable that disagreements should arise, especially when it was unclear the actual status and their position on the council. Furthermore, several of the Hutts were either knew or had been absent for quite some time and their knowledge of the happenings on Nar Shaddaa and amongst the Hutt Council were limited. This night saw disagreements over the status of the press at the public event, the status of who was providing security, the status of some of the staff, and the status of the Hutts themselves. Most of the disagreements haven’t been resolved and hopefully other elder members of the Council will help clear the confusion when they return. The night however was free of violence, probably due to the large amounts of food being provided.

Large gathering of Hutts at Hutt Night.

In the midst of the disagreements, at least three propositions were brought before the Hutts. First to speak was Lynu, though her speech was mainly for Miss Verne. She wished for Verne’s cooperation in confronting a special partner of the Imperius’ leader who was being accused of harming the consort of Lynu. Verne agreed to speak to the Chiss on the matter and a meeting was set for a later time.

Following Lynu, a Twi’lek took to the stage requesting an audience from Issulla the Hutt. The matter was most likely over a job position and Nerous the Hutt agreed to set up the meeting.

Next to speak was Sparrow of the Apotheosis Corporation. First she told Magus the Hutt she had a shipment ready for him. Secondly she petitioned that Azalus the Hutt be added to the Council so her work with the Hutts would work smoother and she would have a direct contact with someone who knew her business. Nerous invited Azalus though his position may not be finalized until a vote by the Council.

Finally, Sparrow also spoke about a recent bounty she placed on the pirate lord, Jes’tula Tor’dok. Sparrow stated she had been offered three million credits to capture the well-known pirate but knew the Hutts had also planted a bounty on him and she wished to know their intentions on a price. She was told the Hutts would pay 4 million for his head and that seems to be the highest bid so far.

Finishing out the night was a proposition by Slama the Hutt to obtain more goods through Sparrow and to meet with her on Bakura soon. And with that the night came to an end.”

Small Gathering at Hutt Night

November 3, 2013 Comments off

Reports from GNN filed this report.

Black Hole Casino, Nar Shadaa: With the absence of much of the council, the gathering for their public audience known as Hutt Night was smaller this week. Appearing from the council was Tiro the Hutt who many haven’t seen for a while.  Joining him was Oobajudda the Hutt, Sihivus Verne, majordomo Morrigan and several members of their staff and other guests.

Guests begin to gather at Hutt Night

Sparrow of the Apotheosis Corporation was the only guest to publicly come before the Hutts. She came to express her concerns over the encroaching of the Republic Remnants and GAR over spheres outside what she considered their jurisdiction, especially over what some would term the criminal elements such as the cartels found in Hutt space. She  stated they’ve become more aggressive over time and have interfered with free trade even going so far as to utilize weapons they’ve labelled as illegal to fight against several economic factions. She then gave a speech on the need for corporations such as her’s and organizations such as the Hutt Empire and the Imperius to unite and stand strong against the encroachment of the Republic and to being glory back to their name and their proper place in the galaxy.

Her speech though seemed to have been misunderstood or take out of context as most thought she was referring to  only going entering into a small war with the Republic. Most then declined her offer wishing not to become involved. However, it seems she was talking on even grandeur terms, by forming a revolution to make sure no-one interfered with their business. Sparrow left with hopes of getting her ideas off the ground with others and its unclear at this time if any of the factions present will pursue more with her.

During Sparrow’s passionate speech however, Tiro the Hutt seemed keen on making sure Hutt Night stayed a more private event going so far to eject the Jedi Master Solo, who has attended several of these public audiences before, and making a declaration that the press would be barred from overseeing the events. Master Solo left after encouragement from fellow Jedi Jay and others, but stated he would bring his business to other more friendly Hutts such as Isuulla. Members of the press ignored this Hutt’s declaration as they’ve had a long-standing relationship with the Hutt Council that goes back several years. Only time will tell if Tiro’s strictness gains any footing.

And with that Hutt Night came to an end.”

GNN reporters Daana Kira and Rakiko Lowtide attended the latest Hutt Night on Nar Shaddaa.

Black Hole Casine, Nar Shaddaa: Overseeing the crowd at this public event were Shaka and Slama the Hutts. They were joined by Shaka’s majordomo Morrigian, their guest Sihivus Verne as well as their staff.

Crowd gathers for Hutt Night

Long time resident of Nar Shaddaa, previous employee of Shaka, and now Jedi Knight, Jay, came before the Hutts with a plan to rejuvenate the public police force on Nar Shaddaa. Previous those duties had been carried out by a group known as N-Sec. However, the group was apparently disbanded during the war and change of governments on Nar Shaddaa.

Jay offered a plan for him and his people to overtake those duties. He wished to help the people of Nar Shaddaa and once again serve them. For now the council agreed in the affirmative and soon policing duties will be taken over by Jay and his people. Details will be sorted out in private.

Follow the announcement of the formation of this new police force, Slama the Hutt made an announcment. Since taking over the administration of the Unobunko clan’s holdings the parties that were being held are to be continued. However they will be moved to the main upper-city cantina on Nar Shaddaa and will be held periodically. The first was held two days after Hutt Night, but several more are planned in the future GNN’s entertainment corespondent will keep up on the details so our readers won’t miss another one.

Ending the night was several proposals for Slama to extend his clan’s business dealings, especially in weapons to all the factions of the galaxy. A plan he was most interested in.”

New overseer of the Unobunko Hutt Clan Named at Hutt Night

October 20, 2013 2 comments

GNN reporter Daana Kira attended the latest Hutt Night.

Black Hole Casino, Nar Shaddaa: Due to pressing matters elsewhere most of the Hutt Council was absent for their famous public audience known as Hutt Night. However, Shaka the Hutt was on hand with staff and guests to meet with the still sizable crowd that found its way to the casino.

Because of the absence of so many key individuals, public business was short this week with most deals being conducted in private. However, carrying over from last week was still the question of the control of the Unobunko holdings since the disappearance of Dunka the Hutt.

Hutt Night in the Black Hole Casino

Brining an end to the controversy was Slama the Hutt who was sired by Dunka. He told the council that he was taking control of the Unobunko estate and explained that Dunka had taken an extended vacation.

Slama will also oversee the clan’s business which ranges from weapon, spice, narcotics and slaves. Those wishing to do business with the clan are advised to speak with Slama, who can be found at the Unobunko palace on Nal Hutta or through his agents on Nar Shaddaa.”
