Yuuzhan Vong Seeks Revenge in Mos Espa

December 8, 2010 4 comments

In Mos Espa, the last Pazaak tournament was interrupted by a Yuuzhan Vong from the Shaper Caste, who was apparently there to exact revenge for the murder of a fellow caste member in Nar Shaddaa the week before.

According to Mr. Zarbok, who runs the Pazaak tournaments on planets around the galaxy, when asked if and why the Yuuzhan Vong had come looking for him, he replied, “Yes, she had come to me because I had made a deal with her sister whom was murdered by the Mandalorians. I had told her sister that I would entertain her and her friends. Though that time never came, and when Ku’gan returned I immediately took Ku’gan’s side. I was always in favor of the Hutts, but when they were gone I took to the method of getting close to this (Yuuzhan) Vong to perhaps discover a way to end her or at least distract her into thinking she had actually succeeded in her plot to take over this Moon.”

When ask for a reaction to this disruption, Lyzo the Hutt stated, “If my big bad cousin was still around Grancha the Hutt , certain people would have been arrested. All I know is no one brings garbage from another world to my place where I do most of my business.” When asked what happened once the fighting began, Lyzo the Hutt stated, “Well with a little words of encouragement I got both parties to cease whatever it was they were fighting about.”

Finally when asked if it was believed that the Yuuzhan Vong will return to exact her revenge, Josef Mystiere, majordomo of the Hutt on Mos Espa stated, “it is possible, but if she does, we will be ready for her.”

Nar Shaddaa eradicates Yuuzhan Vong

The Nar Shaddaa local correspondent to the Galactic News Network sent a report about the fate of the Yuuzhan Vong shaper, responsible of the last incidents on the moon.

Much to the relief and amazement of the residents of Nar Shaddaa, they awoke to a normal lifestyle for the first time in countless months. The Hutt moon that is Nar Shaddaa was taken over when a Yuuzhan Vong from the Shaper Cast arrived and overthrew the Hutt leadership.

Residents gathering, looking for the Yuuzhan Vong Shaper

The female Yuuzhan Vong went on a rampage through Nar Shaddaa, sacrificing all those who opposed her to their God, killing off residents in ways too gory to describe to the general public. She managed to rid the moon of the Hutt entirely for a period of time. Once word reached Ku’gan the Hutt, who had been out of the Y’Toub system, apparently leaving the day before the arrival of the Yuuzhan Vong, returned to reclaim Nar Shaddaa back into the control of the Hutts and the Hutt Council.

The damage to “Little Coruscant”, another nickname of the moon, from the terraforming done by the the member of the Shaper Cast has not been totaled. However a census of the residents shows that the population on the moon was nearly cut in half. The recovery of Nar Shaddaa is still in question.

Ku’gan the Hutt arrived back on Smugglers Moon about 5 days ago. Onlookers say they saw him conversing with the Yuuzhan Vong the same night he returned, although the talks ended peacefully and without damage to the area in which the talks were conducted. The Yuuzhan Vong was allowed to leave the cantina peacefully and without harm.

Finally last night, the Yuuzhan Vong was located by an angry mob of citizens who demanded street justice be served. The Shaper challenged the Mighty Ku’gan to a combat to the death where the winner would become the rightful ruler in Nar Shaddaa. The Yuuzhan Vong bested the Hutt but before she could claim ruler-ship the angry mob shot her several times in the back, killing her as she attempted to flee the scene. Ku’gan is currently in stable condition, being treated for several wounds, at the hospital in Nar Shaddaa’s Upper City.

From the local correspondent in Nar Shaddaa.

Approximately twenty local days ago, Nar Shadda was wracked by a storm of unknown origin. The storm left Nar in darkness for many hours, several wounded an a total of 18 dead.

Flooded lower levels in Nar Shaddaa

The next days to come brought tremors and quakes of varied magnitude which caused structural and foundation damage, planet wide. Additionally, the appearance of alien plant life began to become apparent. Half a dozen of days later, it became common knowledge these plants were carnivorous and responsible for the deaths of several residence including a few unnamed Hutts.

Few days before, while attempting to rally a clean up crew, what is rumored to be a Yuuzhan Vong appeared and disappeared with Darmutta Hutt into the bowels of the under city, Darmutta has not been seen or heard from since. Later that day quakes seem to have reached their peeks shaking Nar Shaadda violently bringing down the lower city cantina. It is feared that Darmutta may have been inside when it was reduced to rubble.

The following days has brought far more rainfall than Nar Shaddaa is used to having and a thick green fog has taken over the lower city. several Hutt carcases have been found near the plants, the city now seems void of any Hutt lifeforms.

Humidity is unbearable and the on going rain is making getting from point A to point B outside hazardous. Several inbound ships have collided into other ships or building structures in an attempt to land safely on the planet.

Finally a great number of the residence on the moon are falling ill with varied symptoms including; Dizziness, shortness of breath, swollen limbs, rapid heart rate, nausea, blurred vision, numbness in hands or feet, moderate to migraine headaches, muscle spasms, hot or cold flashes, mood swings, constricting of muscles, twitching, loss of consciousness, and even death. It is unknown if the illnesses are directly related to the current situation in Nar Shaddaa.
