Po Vewe in the Starlight

Kessel Gate: The asteroid in the Kessel sector known as the Gate was seized by the planetary government due to tax issue with the Gate’s original investor Kaelinn X. A trial is still planned, but the authorities already started to invest in the asteroid’s renovation. According to Sergeant Major Po Vexe, the government understood this asteroid was an important stop and military position for the planet.

The Lower Hangar

A new lower hanger with a repair facility and an adjacent duty-free shop and an alchemist shop have been set to attract the travellers. The rebuilt is financed by Kessel. Expectantly, they will be refunded by the income of this facilities and the asteroid’s own industry. It indeed has a droid factory and yet closed mines. The mines are currently infested by large bugs despite the efforts voluntary spacers had made to chase them away.

The Rocket Down level

In the upper area of the asteroid still stands the Rocket Down cantina. It’s now surrounded by decorations and small garden. Also a new club, the StarLight, was set up to relax in security. All travellers and businessmen are welcome if they respect the Kessel laws.

Sleyheyron Running At Optimal Capacity

September 9, 2013 Comments off

GNN reporters Daana Kira and Rakiko Lowtide visited the Odominic controlled Sleyheyron shipyards.

Sleyheyron Shipyards

Sleheryon System: The shipyards owned by the Odominic Hutt Clan, headed by Issulla the Hutt are operating at full capacity. A large space station is at the center of the activity providing room and activities for workers and visitors alike. The 360 degree view allows a complete overlook of the activity taking place in orbit. Visitors though are advised to make themselves known upon arrival and contact station managers before docking due to the indiscriminate automated security systems which have a tendency to shoot first and ask questions later.

As for the shipyards themselves, they are outfitted with the latest and cutting edge shipbuilding technologies. The facilities are equipped to build stock to custom vessels of about any size from yachts to capital ships ranging in price from 250,000 credits to several hundred million. Most of the ships being built currently were based off imperial star destroyer designs but because of shipyards standards the customer names are confidential. Because of the efficiency of the shipyards, ships can be produced in record times, from just a few weeks to several months.

Exploring the cantina with allies of the Odominic

The space station will also be a center place for business and other business for the Odominic clan and its allies, which include members of the CIS and other Hutt clans. However, even though a meeting hall has been set up for Issulla the Hutt she will still be holding court on Kessel Gate for the foreseeable future. Other facilities are included to give traders and other visitors a chance to relax or conduct business and in the future special events may also be held there.Overall the shipyards were impressive to see and for those looking to do business with the Hutts, are in the market for a new ship, or need someplace to set up trades, the Sleheyron Shipyards are the place to be.”

The settlement

Aston Caster B’Ijaat, leader of the mandalorian clan De Cuun Ijaat (“by our honour”,) discovered the moon while exploring and decided to set her clan’s home. Other clan and organizations were invited, such as the clan Ordo or the researcher Sir Haku. Akeya Kel’s company was contracted for a defence agreement and has offices here too.

The settlement is spread of the swampy forest of the inhabitable moon, Sevian 64. It’s a residential area and may offer cheap dwelling for people or organisation looking for a quiet place. Even if isolated, the orbital facility allow to reach any place of the Galaxy; Aston herself continue her business in Nar Shaddaa, Yavin 4 and other worlds.

Search of the Droid Core

July 25, 2013 1 comment

A reporter of the Galactic News Network discussed with Kaelinn X in Kessel Gate.

Kaelinn X

Markus Soto, a famous droid expert, is looking for the Droid Core. The Droid Core is a belief all the droids regardless their makers are connected together by some mystical ability. Markus recently found an army of ancient droids to be repaired and established his workshop in Kessel Gate. Looking for more evidence, maybe an artifact, Markus requested the help of Issula the Hutt in her last audience. As a reaction, Kaelinn X, a tenant of the Kessel Gate, will sponsor the “Search of the Droid Core” event with a credit reward.

So far, the known hints are few. They can be examined in Soto’s workshop located in the old mines in Kessel Gate. The treasure hunters wanting to claim the reward will have to follow the tracks that can leads them anywhere in the Galaxy, then bring their discovery, if any to Kaelinn X.

New Colony in Osadia

July 3, 2013 Comments off

Reporters of Galactic News met new colonists in Osadia.

Colonists on Osadia

The forests of the forgotten planet Osadia have a new sentient colony. Mandalorians, from clans Kata, Mereel and Ordo, and other individuals such as Krozr’ido’csapla of house Csapla decided to seek their fortune on this planet and to help the colony grow. They will not be without distraction: the famous Club 66 set up a building, far enough from the camp to damper the noise effects of their events. Most dwellings of the residential area are still tents, but low cost prefabricated housing will be ordered to replace them whenever possible.

Osadia landscape

The settlement is a partnership between the mandalorians Kaden Mereel and Krozr’ido’csapla and is organised democratically. New factions will be welcomed and will have their place, especially if they can help the colony by sharing their skills and resources. The Chiss house Csapla told his interest at hiring workers for this purpose.

The colonists plan to utilize the resources from the planet, lumber, ore and whatsoever they could find of interest. During their exploration, they also have found out a few archaeological resources such as an ancient temple. They have not yet met hostile locals.

Sith Space Station Still Orbits Near Tython

June 10, 2013 Comments off

Reporters of the Galactic News Network visited a space station over Ashla, a moon of Tython.

Starwind in alert

Tython: Even if the Sith left after the last war in Tython, remnants of their presence are still in the System. Notably a space station, set up as relay over the moon Ashla during the war remains operational. Due to its low energy signature, it went unnoticed after the Jedi victory, but its location was recently discovered.

The station is host to Sith and a military squadron. The commander Darth Serpentis said he’s maintaining the station for “a strategic tactical purpose,” and it’s close enough to the surface to scan for artefact and other things.” Notably Darth Serpentis is looking for an old holocron about alchemy.

Darth Serpentis

The station can also be used to start attacks on the surface. Currently it hails to the New Sith Empire and its army. It’s also an outpost for the Order of the Dark Lords. This station is a fully operational outpost, medbay, conference room, detention area. and a hanger for transport to and from. They know the Jedi and the GAR have detected them, but so far, they had little contact with them.

The relation between the station and Tython might be tense in the future. A reaction of the Jedi and the GAR toward this possible hostile force is expected.
