Sith Empire Warning to the Republic

January 10, 2014 Comments off

The regularly scheduled programming of the Galactic News Network suddenly turns to static, followed shortly by an override of video footage.

Darth Infestus, Hand of the Emperor, interrupts GNN’s regularly scheduled programming to bring the citizens of the Galaxy this broadcast:

“Citizens of the Republic, listen and listen closely, for I must warn you.

You and your representatives will soon discover that resisting the Sith is a futile endeavour. The Dark Side cannot be suppressed; the flames of conflict that force all of us to evolve are inextinguishable.

Unfortunately for you, Light, no matter how bright, will always find itself surrounded by an infinity of Darkness. It is an unbreakable law of nature. So it has been since the dawn of time, and so it will remain for all eternity.

Continue your provocations, and they will be answered with merciless violence. I promise you, by the Emperor’s will, I shall summon an ocean of death and flood your cities with waves of terror if necessary. Perhaps tomorrow, perhaps the day after tomorrow, or perhaps years from now. To someone who has seen what I have seen, months are as days, and days are but fleeting seconds. My patience is limitless… Your demise is certain.

Choose your course of action wisely. It is not too late to atone for your mistakes… yet.

Order or Chaos, decide your fate.”

A very nervous-looking Xera D’Ukal appears behind her desk looking back at the video being displayed as it fades away.

We apologize to our viewers for the technical difficulties.  We will now resume our regularly scheduled programming!

Sith Empire Address to the Galaxy

November 4, 2013 5 comments

Galactic News Network broadcast an address of Darth Infestus from the Sith Imperial News Network.

Darth Infestus, Hand of the Emperor broadcasted an address to the Galaxy aiming to gain support to the imperial cause and praising the stability of the Sith regime.

“Saarai… It means truth in the ancient Sith language. And the truth, fellow citizens of the Galaxy, is what I wish to discuss today.

“The peoples of this Galaxy are as divided as the stars themselves. Political conflicts have spread like the raging fires of a supernova, igniting an inferno of ignorance in their wake.
This, my fellow citizens, has left us in a state of instability where few worlds, if any at all, can truly prosper.

“For centuries I have observed the births and deaths of countless societies. Witnessing these events has taught me a great deal about the balance between chaos and serenity. In hopes that we may yet extinguish this flame of ignorance and enjoy prosperity once more, I wish to share with you some of that knowledge.

“There are two possible causes for the collapse of a society. Destruction can come from an exterior source, or from within. The latter in particular has affected us the past decades, causing us to drift apart further than ever before.

“History teaches us that after a time of conflict, peace always follows. How long this moment of peace lasts depends on the foundation that was built during the conflict preceding it. The strength of this foundation determines the survival or fall of a society in the future. What we can do now is build a foundation surpassing anything the Galaxy has seen before!

“Lately the organisation I represent has suffered much slander from the ignorant, but regardless of their opinions, one cannot deny that the modern Sith Empire has proven itself to be the most stable galactic organisation of our age.

“Where other societies fell victim to the changes of time and inevitably crumbled until they were no more than dust, we survived.
“We survived because we recognized the necessity of conflict.
“We recognized the crucial role it plays in evolution.
“And thus, we welcome those who have not yet joined our cause to do so now.
“We welcome you to profit from the stability we have enjoyed for years.
“We welcome you to look to us for direction and leadership in this time of need.
“To look to us for the knowledge required to build a foundation that will last for millennia.

“All you have to do is find the courage to acknowledge the truth, as we have.
“Those who do not, will be left behind!

“Only as one, unified under the Imperial Banner, shall stability, and by extension prosperity, return to your worlds in time.

“Let those who oppose us burn in the flame of ignorance!

“For the Emperor!”

War business is good bushiness at Hutt Night

Galactic News Reporters went at the Hutt Night in Nar Shaddaa

The Black Hole Casino gathered several Hutt and their guest for the traditionnal meeting of the Hutt Clan Council.

Sihivus Verne and the Hutts

At the beginning, Sihivus Verne reported tp the Hutt of the progress of last’s meeting projects. The Vormsks modified by Darth Infestus would dissuade the Jedi enough to cause any trouble in Nar Shaddaa’s business. Patrols are being trained, and the beasts should obey to their handler. So far the results suited the expectations. However a few unmodified creatures managed to escape.

Renegade Fleet Captain Grayson

After this discussion, Captain Grayson from the Renegade Fleet revealed the new selection of ships that will make up their backbone; the Skyward Industries Guardian class light corvette. The fleet is one of the space security force defending Hutt Space worlds, such as Nar Shaddaa or Tatooine and its trade line. The Captain offered a visit of their new ship to the Hutt and some, in the audience said their interest to work with the Fleet.

Tressec Svh’ad greeting the Hutts

Next Tressec Svh’ad greeted the Hutt humbly. He told them, in a broken tone, he spent 42 years in a prison cryo and offered them for free his services in warlike and death dealing activities. The Hutt directed him to Sihivus Verne who answered she can certainly find an arrangement. During the discussion his voice became hysterical and he suddenly sliced the concrete step between the Hutt with his sword. He was asked to leave the floor and to wait for a possible mission.

This ended the audience, although the crowd didn’t spread yet, watching instead an argument in the background.

Reporters of the Galactic News Network attended at the Hutt Night

Several Hutt welcomed their visitors in the Hutt Night, the famous regular event of Black Hole Casino located in the Nar Shaddaa Undercity. Shaka, Gilbar and Helsing listened to the guests introduced by the droid Crash.

Sihivus Verne talking to the Hutt

The first speaker was Sihivus Verne, leader of the Imperious. She recalled her appeal for the arts and complained her collection of relics was severely damaged in an explosion of her office. She said those responsible for this attack were the same Jedi that attacked the Hutt Council some time ago. A bounty was issued, but she came to seek agreement with the Hutt of shared measures against their common enemies. She had also ordered a shipment of Vornskr creatures, known to hunt force users and proposed to share them with the Hutts. The Hutt were greatly interested at following Verne in this matter.

Darth Infestus

Afterwards, Darth Infestus approached after being invited by Shaka to do so. He recalled he was Hand to Emperor Destius of the Sith Empire. At th Hutt request, he made firm he didn’t represent the “scum” of the Disciples of Ragnos, with who the Hutt had recent spats. The Empire is also neutral toward the Revenant Armada. He said the Empire was selective when agreeing on alliance, but also offered to the Hutt, an alchemically altered creature for their pit. Sihivus Verne proposed he alter one of her Vornskr. Every party agreed on this, although the details will be negotiated later.

Aran and the Hutt

The next one was Aran, representing X-Play. She complained of Alex Kardel activities. He threw a thermal in the last Hutt Night, and fired on her, then claimed his regrets nobody died after this attack. She also said he tried to stir a war between X Play and the Disciples of Ragnos. Even if she said having no evidence, she thought he would also raise the tension between Nar Shaddaa’s mandalorians and the Hutts. The Hutt supported her investigations and affirmed he’ll be fed to their beast if evidence was found.

Sil’oola from X Play also announced X Play Manager, Kaelinn X was now out of comma and is recovering. She would return to the club soon and will probably be seen in one of their upcoming events. On the recent events, Minx Bade added a bounty which is offered for the capture of a mysterious Zeltron, wanted for the explosion in the Baby Girls’ club. Gilbar the Hutt was interested by the capture of this Zeltron as well. Sil’oola concluded X Play’s part by recalling the party they will hold in two day in the club [Friday 7pm]

Lastly a woman called Dalcrus asked to be fed by a Rancor for unknown reasons, but the Hutt denied that request and dismissed her.

Grand Architectural Builds Completed on Byss

September 11, 2012 13 comments

Reporters Daana Kira and Rakiko Lowtide traveled to the Sith Empire’s capital on Byss to see the city’s redesign.

Landing at the Imperial Square

Making our way through the strong atmospheric storms over Byss, we landed at the capital, where one is overwhelmed by the Majesty of the Imperial Square and surrounding buildings. Here we met with Darth Infestus, the key architect for the rejuvenation and redesign of the Sith Empire’s capital.

Because of the chaotic nature of Byss geology it was necessary to move much of the capital as tectonics had caused even more aggressive strains upon the old capital. Taking advantage of the necessity, the Emperor had ordered the new capital to be stronger, larger and more impressive than the last, a job Darth Infestus and his men jumped into. Using the skills and experiences they gained since coming to Byss, they built a fortified capital that could take advantage of the Darkside Nexus present in this system.

Darth Infestus speaking about the buildin gof the new Capital.

The Main Square is where visitors and citizens can come to gather and begin their journey through the capital, to witness the might of the Empire and have at their fingertips anything they desire, from restaurants to museums, to cutting edge skyscrapers and one of a kind shops. Also there are several symbols of the Empire’s focus on order such as the public execution area of to the side of the main square. Darth Infestus stated the Empire would not tolerate crime and would use the public executions as a warning and deterrent to others.

The military will also have a strong presence as they are also taxed with protecting the city. Several of the buildings and private areas are devoted to them. Also present will be most of the arms of the government such as the Emperor’s offices and the Ministry of Internal Pacification, a law enforcement agency. Most high government areas are still located in the expanded Citadel.

A view from the main street.

When visitors first arrive to Byss, their first landing point will still be on the SSD Ravager where they will then take shuttles to the surface once cleared. The Byss and other Imperial citizens have already been able to move and take advantage of the city, but Darth Infestus now declares the city open to all from the Galaxy.

Byss capital plan to expand

June 5, 2012 Comments off

On Byss, reporters of the Galactic News Network discussed with Darth Infestus on the city expansion.

Darth Infestus

Byss: Darth Infestus announced the imperial architect are reconstructing parts of the capital city of the Sith Empire. The city will be expanded over the harsh and unpredictable terrain and the structures will be reinforced. However it would be too dangerous to try and suppress the volcanic activity since it regulates the planetary pressure and the building will have to work around the activity. The full work is expected to spread on several dozen of days.

Sith Empire dignitaries differ on a alliance with New Confederacy

June 5, 2012 1 comment

Reporters of the Galactic New tried to go to the Sith Empire meeting but had no answer. Then they returned to Byss to ask to the Dark Lords of the Sith, including some dignitary the state of their relationship with the New Confederacy.

Byss: Few days ago Vorren Redden broadcasted the New Confederacy announce he merged his force with the “Empire”. While not telling which Empire, it was assumed to be the Sith Empire, especially since the Obsidian Dominion evoked the same day a merge between their military forces, reinforcing their cooperation. A merge would probably place the resulting entity automatically at war with the New Republic

Darth Moi’Rai

On Byss, capital of the Sith Empire however, the Sith dignitaries we met were unaware of an agreement. Even if they answered at a personal level, they doubted such merge or alliance at the Empire level existed or was yet in progress. They did not reject an alliance in the future if it follows the appropriate channels and they did not speak for Sith Empire members, like the Obsidian Dominion. We expect to meet soon a representative of the New Confederacy to sort this issue.
