Endor’s Moon under NSE control

September 23, 2013 3 comments

Reporters of the Galactic News Network travelled to Endor’s Moon to meet Arbitras Nexsus.

Damaged Bunker

Tribal monarch Arbitras Rexsus and his follower evacuated their home bunker in the Forest Moon of Endor after a series of victory from the New Sith Empire of Rellik. The bunker itself is quarantined, having suffered major structural damages. The New Sith Empire (NSE) sent probes and bugs across the forest to attempt to catch the remaining opposition forces. Abitras is fears other Rellik’s allies, maybe the Hutt, will join the occupation.

Arbitras Rexsus

Endorians had withdrawn to well hidden locations in the moon. Arbitras moved his family’s valuable collection to an artificial volcano cave that can only be reached by a well guarded secret path. He suspects the relics of this collections, as well as the control of cortosis mines are the main purpose of the Sith occupation. So far, they appear to have little mean to counter attack, but they expect to gain the support of allies, notably the Jedi in the Galaxy. Even though it may be a long run objective, they want to chase the New Sith Empire from the moon. Meanwhile, between securing their holding and contacting their supports, they may prepare localized attacks to harass the occupying forces.- Daana Kira, Rakiko Lowtide

NSE Raise a Citadel on Umbara

July 8, 2013 8 comments

Reporters of Galactic News Network met Emperor Rellik of the New Sith Empire in his citadel of Umbara.

Citadel of Darkness on Umbara

Umbara: A new capital has arisen, housing the Emperor and leaders of the New Sith Empire (NSE). Emperor Rellik along with his advisers such as Grand Moff Necrosis are overseeing a quickly expanding Empire, that counts several systems in worlds in its fold.

Once a member of the Order of Dark Lords and a close friend to Darth Varen, Rellik who had also been groomed as a possible successor to the throne of the Byss Empire has been on his own for several years building his own substantial military force. Rellik believes now his power and support is sufficient enough to create the largest Empire in the Galaxy that may even take place of the Byss Empire, though there are thorns still in his side such as the GRAE and the Rexsus family who’ve been administrating the moon of Endor.

Emperor Rellik talking of the expansion of the New Sith Empire.

His quarrel with the  Rexsus family started long ago when Arbitra Rexsus’ great grand father killed Rellik’s sister. Also in the proceeding years more blood has been split on both sides, with Rellik holding Yodan and others to blame for attacks on his own son. This fued as extended across several factions with Rellik holding the GRAE and the Kalway Order of the Jedi (KOJ) culpable as well, with no end in sight to the conflicts until one side is utterly destroyed. To round out his expansion and military might, the NSE has formed several alliances and funded projects such as the construction of the powerful battle station under Moff Shadow. Rellik himself has personally overseeing these relationships going as far as using his own knowledge and power to imbue such weapons like the battle station with some nasty surprises.

With these expansions and alliances in place, Rellik believes Endor will fall soon along with other enemies of the Empire such as Yavin IV.

GRAE Moves from Endor to Tython

March 12, 2013 4 comments

GNN Reporters Daana Kira and Rakiko spoke with Arbitras Rexsus on Tython.

GRAE outpost on Tython.

Tython: After a devastating attack on their base on Endor’s moon in the Gupin Mountain Range, the Galapctic Rebel Alliance Enclave (GRAE) has temporarily moved their base of operations to Tython while cleanup is finished and an old base is retrofitted on the Endor moon. The aerial bombardment that destroyed much of the GRAE base, some local villages and an Ewok tribe, is currently under investigation. Arbiras Rexsus however suspects Rellik an his son to be behind it.

The exact identity of the fleet that commenced the attack is yet unknown but Arbitras Rexsus, a tribal monarch and GRAE leader, believes it an Imperial group closely related to the Robe of the Hand (ROTH) which they’ve recently had conflicts with. Also he believes it was instigated by a personal enemy of his known as Lord Rellik, who was once though dead but is now believed to work with the ROTH.

GRAE mining operations on Tython.

The mining operations on the Endor moon are also being secured and retrofitted, but most of the business has also moved to Tython for the time being where a deposit of phrik and cortosis compounds was recently found. The GRAE have built a facility to start the mining in the tunnels under Tython. They are also want to enter in a good relationship with the Jedi having their temple nearby.

On a final note the GRAE is looking for recruits to help in their struggle especially as other members such as Rexsus’ nephew have gone missing, believed to have been capture by the Amaran group Starwind on Tatooine. All able-bodied individuals are encouraged to apply to help protect Endor, Tython, and the Galaxy.

Wave of Kidnapping in the Republic and Jedi worlds

May 9, 2012 6 comments

A series of kidnappings occurred over a few days in the Republic and their allies. The targets appear to be politicians or Jedi apprentices. The alleged kidnappers are often Sith, although the situations vary. The motivations behind the abductions are not always cleared.

The table below summarizes the latest of these events.

  • Since few dozen of days, the Senator of Tython, Nasaji Oba, is missing. Her kidnapping was claimed by the Tython Liberation front, which sent several demands, one of which being a recently raised ransom. The negotiations and investigations look fruitless.
  • In Yavin 4, a Jedi apprentice was captured after an attack from the New Confederacy and Sith allies. Her master freed her a short time later and she was injured during her captivity. Without generalizing, Yavin 4 formerly complained of the Sith tendency to kidnap their apprentices.
  • The Senator Draconis of Callos was held in Trandosha for a still unknown reason by the New Confederacy. An expedition of the Grand Army of the Republic and Jedi from Dantooine managed to release him with great difficulties.
  • On Uvena Prime, a long time wanted criminal, Skole abducted and mistreated an apprentice of the Jedi Academy. Skole resisted and was killed by a group sent to recover his victim.
  • Arbitras Rexsus II, monarch from Endor, was kidnapped after a raid on the Moon. He was brought to Nar Shaddaa frozen in a carbonite slab, probably by a Sith called Rellik, and entrusted to the Hutts. These last ones have placed a payment for his release. People in Endor claim he would not survive in carbonite more than a few days.
  • Lastly, Naboo announced the queen Adala was kidnapped by Sith while she was visiting the Jedi of Dantooine. Those of them we asked distrusted the press, therefore few details are yet known. Other sources said the queen was being treated for some sickness while the Disciples of Ragnos violently intruded in the med lab and kidnaped her.

We wish all of the victims to be recovered in the best possible health.

Arbitras Rexsus II of Endor Kidnapped

GNN Reporters Daana Kira and Rakiko Lowtide received reports that the Monarch of Endor had been kidnapped. They spoke with the Grey Jedi on Endor as well as the Hutts who are claimed to have him in custody.

Following denial of membership in the Republic, Endor has gone through some turmoil such as their Senator resigning. To add even more problems the Endor monarch Arbitras Rexsus II was kidnapped after an attack by Sith forces. According to Grey Jedi Vyres Yodan III, he was injured during the attack and was taken aboard a Sith shuttle during the confusion. An Endor investigation team was quickly dispatched to find where their leader had been taken. They finally found the trail on Nar Shaddaa and one of the scouts saw a Sith sell the Monarch, who had now been encased in carbonite to the Hutts, Jengaz and Shaka. Further investigation unearthed that he would be auctioned off during Hutt Night.

Grey Jedi of Endor’s Moon reporting the Arbitras Rexsus’ kidnapping

Master Vyres theorized that the Monarch would fetch a price because of the rarity of his species. The Sith that took the Monarch are believed to be from an order known as the Shadow Clan. The Grey Jedi was displeased that they weren’t granted Republic membership, making their Moon vulnerable, but has contacted them for help in this matter along with the Grand Army of the Republic (GAR). Other Jedi orders such as the DJE have also been contacted as plans are being made to retrieve their Monarch. They are also very concerned for the health of their Monarch, since his species has to tolerance for cold and encasing him in Carbonite should be killing him slowly.

Lord Rellik of the Shadow Clan is believed to be the one to order the kidnapping and sale. According to the Grey Jedi, he’s been feuding with the Arbitras’s family from the time he quit as an apprentice of the Arbitras’s grandfather. The Shadow Clan’s base is unknown at this time. The Jedi of Endor implore anyone who wants to help or has further information to contact them on the moon.

The court of Jengaz the Hutt in Nar Shaddaa

To substantiate these claims, GNN then traveled to Nar Shaddaa to speak with Jengaz the Hutt. According to Jengaz, he and Shaka did enter in agreement to help a Sith sell a decorative slab of Carbonite. Majordomo Morrigan further confirmed that yes it was the Monarch of Endor, and that the Hutts had agreed to auction him off at Hutt Night, taking part of the profit of his sale. They didn’t feel that they were part of the kidnapping and were only doing business. If the Monarch hadn’t wanted to be frozen he shouldn’t have made enemies. Furthermore, if the Jedi on Endor wanted him back, all they had to do was come and win the auction. As for the Monarch’s safety they said it was the responsibility of the person who froze him and the one who buys him.

Its unclear how much more profit the Hutt can make off this deal that will overshadow the cost of possibly going in conflict with several other factions. They are decided to get profit from whoever wants him, at the difference to the Republic which recently handed them for free a Hutt encased in Carbonite. Those questions should be answered at Hutt Night.

Darth Marell

Yavin 4: The Sith Darth Marell, Emperor on the planet Mygeeto revealed some of his plans against the Jedi. He’s planing to bring the armada he was building onto Yavin 4, which is under the control of the Kalway Order of the Jedi (KOJ). Darth Marell was in the past, Master Rose’s apprentice in this order and therefore claims not to fear them.

He also told the Galactic Dominion was “no more a problem”, and to have agreed of an alliance with the Hutt of Nal Hutta, represented by Bovarro. Regarding the mandalorians, currently stationed on Nal Hutta, he was confident they couldn’t disturb his imperial plans, if ever they wanted.
