Sith Imprisoned on Dantooine

Rakiko Lowtide, reporter of the Galactic News Network, met a prisoner in Dantooine’s jails.

Another arrest in Dantoine Jedi Enclave for affiliation the dark side of the Force. Atropa Raine is currently held in cell after having been captured on the way to the temple library where, he said, he was wanting to study. He had rejected the offer to surrender by the Jedi since a while and was arrested few days ago, despite a violent resistance. Atropa Raine said the Jedi didn’t issue clear charge against him. He also complaints on the harsh incarceration conditions, having no food and having just received water after two days. The force field of the cell prevented all physical contact with other so far.

One of the guardian, Guntai Haj’ra, however claimed Atropa Raine was a Sith, originally member of the Disciples of Ragnos, and now part of a secret organisation he didn’t want to name. Worshiping the Dark side of the Force is forbidden by Dantooine laws. The offenders have offered a chance to leave and are only arrested if they stay. Atropa Raine, however according to Guntai has perpetrated crimes on Dantooine and allied planets and will be granted a fair civilian trial. Currently, envoys are being sent to other worlds to check if he committed other crimes there. Also, Dantooine strongly believes to the rehabilitation of the people. Atropa Raine could benefit of this process, even if it may last quite a while.

Ilum Jedi Face Attacks from the DOR

Reporters of the Galactic News Network returned to the Ilum Jedi Temple.

Ilum: The Jedi of Ilum (ILE), and especially Ariana Auroras, has to deplore the demise of Ariana’s sister. Her sister came by her own to the icy planet to visit her newborn niece Merida but she was murdered on the way before she reached the house. The main suspect is Lord Numinous, a Sith disciple of Ragnos (DoR). He left the symbol of his organisation drawn in the snow with the blood of his victim.

It’s not the first time Lord Numinous attacked the Jedi of the Enclave. He already tried to trick Ariana Auroras when she was a padawan, claiming he killed her friend in attempt to lure here in the Dark Side of the Force. More recently, he broke the bones of the Jedi Nikkat who was recovering from former wounds. Theses attacks have occurred without warning and seemingly at random. This Sith appears to be powerful and dangerous. Nobody has seen his face, since he wears a mask, but his voice “is odd…like many voices joined into one.” Ariana warns anybody meeting him and who is not prepared to fight to quickly walk away.

Fight on Endor’s Moon

A reporter of Galactic News Network was sent in Endor after the report of a fight.

Prince Seraphinus

Endor’s Moon: A combat took place opposing the Prince Seraphinus on a side against Aeon Talon and Arterio Lycanthro from Endor. Seraphinus managed to cripple his opponent, although they were able to escape, Aeon in his ship and Arterio in the forest while this one was about to be bombarded. At least another unidentified Sith witnessed the event.

The Prince Seraphinus is a Sith disciple of Ragnos (DoR.) Aboard his cruiser, he was was tracking Aeon Talon, leader of the Robe of the Hand in the Galaxy and spotted him on the moon. Aeon was about to fight Arterio, but, according to Seraphinus, they quickly considered him as a greater thread and decided to joint their force to face him. That didn’t suffice and both were wounded and forced to flee.

Seraphinus and Aeon are bother of the Sith, but ennemies. They trained together but their visions diverged. Their antagonist looks strong, Seraphinus wants him death unless he joined him. He knew Arterio too and didn’t had anything against him, he just fought him because he sided with his enemy.

Sellers and Job Seekers Converge on Hutt Night

Reporters of the Galactic News attended at the Hutt Night in Nar Shaddaa.

Nar Shaddaa: The Black Hole casino welcomed once more the meeting of the Hutt Clan Council. Several Hutt attended, notably Shaka, Jengaz, Bubba and the young Ge’ta. His majordomo Nawa orchestrated the ceremony.

Azrail Tartanuss from Gentek

The first speaker was Azrail Tartanuss, representing the Gentek weaponry. He offered to start business with the Hutt, asking light security for his company compound in Mos Eisley, Tatooine. He also wanted the Hutt help Gentek to defend against the Disciples of Ragnos (DoR.) Those attacked company members for no now reason, including on the Hutt moon Nar Shaddaa. The Hutt proposed to collaborate in they respective domains, but they didn’t address the attacks.

ST-3P0 and the Sceptre

Next came a protocol droid ST-3P0 sent by Captain Starwind. He offered to the Hutt to purchase the Royal Sceptre of Velmor, displaying the item in a case and presenting documents on its authenticity. The captain would have acquired it after the recent museum robbery. The droid suggested the purchaser could claim the rulership of the planet. The Hutt however wanted more guarantee and kept the droid and its item until a Velmor official show up to claim it.

Kael Serrao

The following visitor was the pirate Kael Serrao. He was looking for a job for the cartel and offered the service of his fast correlian ship. Lady Sinya, the majordomo of Shaka, would contact him.

Baby Girl’s staff

Then Kaelinn X steps forward to recall the next swoop race in the planet Hoth, the final open race for the Galactic Swoop Cup ((two races Saturday, 1 PM and 8 PM SLT)). The one after would be limited to the four best contestants. She also revealed a upcoming third season for the cup.

Gem reseller

An unnamed came after, only saying he was working as gunsmith in the under city. He wanted to propose a rare gem he found in an old store house. He went to Sinya for an evaluation of the stone.

Buba the Hutt

Buba the Hutt closed the meeting by proposing his services as Wing Tech factory chairman. The company is producing battle droids and the other Hutt suggested him to meet Darth Abyssus, the lead defender of Nar Shaddaa.

Battleships deployed in Endor’s system

Reporters of the Galactic News visited a battlefleet from Endor.

Endor’s Orbit: Monarch Arbitras Rexsus invested the benefits he did with the Republic to purchase a pair of battleships. Those ship are orbiting in the system, patrolling against the Sith intrusions. The Disciples of Ragnos and their allies had indeed raided the planet a few time ago and kidnapped the heir of the dynasty. One of the disciples told them to not bother looking for him, but they still want to continue.

Arbitras and Vyres Yodan expects his small fleet will be completed by ships from the Republic when needed. In return, Endor’s ships are dedicated for the system defence, one of them may also be deployed to aid allies, such a Dantooine which is also regularly raided by the Sith. The ship have several facilities, and some may be arranged according to the circumstances.

Vice Chancellor Ta’kara Darkmoon Interview

Galactic News Reporters interviewed the Vice Chancellor of the New Republic, Ta’kara Darkmoon.

Coruscant: In an interview to GNN, the Vice Chancellor of the Republic, Ta’kara Darkmoon came back on the last event. She started to evoke the few souvenirs she received from her recent kidnaping. She was stunned by some remote device passing through the window of her office. She woke up later surrounded by unknown talking people. However, she was able to disarm one of the abductors then escape through the facility take a shuttle. She later woke up in the med lab of Coruscant.

Vice Chancellor of the New Republic, Ta’kara Darkmoon

The kidnapper’s identities were not confirmed, though they were dressed like Sith and are presumed to be assassins. More details will be investigated by the Minister of Defence. Also the security will be reinforced significantly. With the current medical leave of the Chancellor, if the Vice Chancellor became unavailable, the senators would have to vote for a new executive.

Coming back on the request of intervention from several sides of the Republic, Ta’kara Darkmoon said they’ll try to send troops or Jedi when patrols are warranted, but recent developments make it harder to send troops and still protect the planets from the threats of the ongoing war.

The Vice Chancellor said she was displeased of behaviors of Susevfi as of late, between the superweapon project Exodus and Senator’s Link Algoma’s trial. On this last one, she discussed with the Chief Justice which pointed out a few things that she has discussed with the defenders. She assures the constitution was “working for him the entire time.” Along with the constitution, they also had to follow the local law.

Although the constitution breaches during the process or how a local law might actually infringe to the federal laws are still unexplained.

Talking on her plans for the Senate, Ta’kara Darkmoon explained she joined the Senate to “make the difference for the people of Bengat”, her homeworld. Then she became Vice Chancellor since nobody else wanted to step up and tried to make her best at listening what the New Republic wanted, even if she confess she might have made some mistakes. She expects the Senators to propose bills about what they want to be changed and improve the Republic rather than just discussing on new memberships.

As for the biggest issues to the Republic, she wants to end the war with the New Confederacy and the attacks from the Disciples of Ragnos. For the new Confederacy she would like to invite their president, Voren Redden: “If you would like to meet upon a Republic world I will grant you safe passage without the risk of capture or being shot. This will be in effect for one day of your choosing to meet with someone of the Senate to discuss a peaceful end to this war.”

Galactic Empire Makes War Against the Disciples of Ragnos

A reporter of Galactic News went in the Lake Country in Naboo to talks with the Galactic Empire Army.

Naboo: The Galactic Empire, an organisation notably assuring the security of Lake Country, is starting a war against the Sith Disciples of Ragnos (DoR.) High Commander “Shadow” justified the disciples are “interfering with our plans and ways of life” DoR would have attacked Empire patrols without cause. Also they are reproached to misuse the Imperial values and symbols. Even if the Sith location is not yet certain, Shadow is sure his men will be able to track them.

The senator of Endor’s moon which sworn to fight the DOR will ally with the Empire troops at personal title. They’re also looking for allies amongst the former members of the Sith Empire of Eclipse. Naboo should be neutral in this war, but combats might occur there because of the Empire base. If they were unable to rebalance their base, it might alter their agreement with the Queen, but Shadow keeps the faith in the value of his Empire.

The Army also changed their armour to white instead of black, the highh commander assuring they are closer to the original Galactic Empire’s. They want to “strike the old symbol back of the original empire into the minds of the Galaxy” to show them they have returned. Other look alike “toys” should be seen in the future. The territory they would control is not known and they not yet have an Emperor, even if they may have one in the future. They claim however they have enough power and dedicated soldiers to become one of the leading factions.

Dantooine News

Galactic News Network discussed with a master of the Dantooine Jedi Enclave.

Dantooine and Bakura recently exchanged embassies. Bakura which has left the Republic appears wanting to keep good relationship with their members. Although, since a policy in the New Republic disallow the members to have foreign relationship, the nature of the work of these embassies would probably need to be cleared.

Still on Dantooine, Master Blade Kamala deplored Lady Aurora, one of the Disciples of Ragnos kidnapped a Jedi padawan. The reason of this abduction remains unknown, but they suspect the Sith would want to brainwash their victims, turning them to their ideology. Jedi attempted to recover the captive in an expedition in Ord Mantell where they were attacked and were able to defeat the disciples, but they did not find any trace of the padawan. The investigations to locate the padawan and rescue him are still in progress.

Master Kamala believe the Empires’ views are widespread too much in the Galaxy and calls for a better diffusion of the Jedi’s and the Republic’s standpoints. Jedi act for the liberty and fight the oppression wanted by their opponents, therefore he considers their voice should be more valued than now. As a Jedi, he refuses however to engage politically. While he shares the values of the Republic, he found unnecessary the Republic work on giving the Jedi a status, preferring to address directly to the people of the Galaxy.

Naboo and Entertainment at the Hutt Night

A reporter of the Galactic News passed the traffic Jam in Nar Shaddaa to attend at the Hutt Night.

The Hutt Night, public meeting of the Hutt Council clan happened in the Black Hole Casino and was led by Belutric, asissted by Shaka and Garon. Nawa was orchestrating the ceremony.

Passionated discussion

The first one called was Shade, officer in the Nasirii Hutt clan security. He wanted to talk briefly to report his investigation on the last meeting issue with a droid did not show any evidence of mischief from Naboo. However, the story bolted. A very long argument followed which involved people from Naboo royalty, Imperious of Ord Mantell, Disciples of Ragnos, Jedi undercover, Mandalorians, Death Watch, rogue battle or protocol droids, Revenant Armada, wounded or healthy Hutt often all talking in the same time or using the Force. At the end, Amelia a former ambassador of Naboo was backstabbed then jailed by the Hutt and the Queen Raz’iah of Naboo was put in custody by the Revenant Armada.

Hopefully, this case will be cleared soon.

Princess Luna

Once things calmed down the other guests made their announces. princess Luna of Zeltros and Lady Aella brought some gifts and invited the Hutt to the pit fight they organised with the Nasirii clan.

Lady Eris Astraea of Lady Astraea’s Massage Parlour, then announced she will organise, with the Narisii clan a soirée called “Lady Astraea’s Mud Pit Mayhem”. This event will occurs the day after the next Hutt Night in the upper city streets.

Kerrilastia from the Port Retreat, a club in the Pallas Athena Station announced the local Pazaak tournament in a few days.

Still about Entertainment, Baby Girl, majordomo of the Narisii clan announced an upcoming race gathering the four best ranked of the Galactic Swoop Cup. Also she invited the crowd to go at Vera Secura’s for a party after the Hutt Night which was about to end.

DOR still visit Dantooine

Reporters of Galactic News visited the Jedi Enclave of Dantooine to collect news.

Jedi in Dantooine report a recent “visit” of the Sith from the Disciple of Ragnos, which caused a few casualties in the Enclave. The reason of their presence is not known. They were handled by the defenders and faced a trial where they were judged guilty to pose a thread to one of the padawan. However, they were released afterward.

This didn’t disturbed the schedule in the enclave. The next days, occured the wedding between the Lady Addreanna and Master Ravenclaw. All our best wishes to the newly weds.
