Lady Zav/Zyrah Kidnapped

December 18, 2013 6 comments

GNN reporters Daana Kira and Rakiko Lowtide met up with UrZuric on his quest to rescue Lady Zav.

Landing site on Oricon

Our previous encounters with UrZuric was when he was head of the ODSL (Order of Dark Sith Lords) who had taken control of territory on several worlds around the galaxy. At that time he was known as Darth Oblivion. However as we spoke with UrZuric on Oricon, now it was clear he was more like himself when we spoke with him while he was head of the OJO on Onderon.

UrZuric gave an explanation. The leader of the ODSL had been a clone of him, which he recently killed on Coruscant to bring his imperial expansions to an end. With the death of their leader the ODSL seems to have come to an end as well. This incident, he said, was the result of of his interactions with Master Moonsoo of the KOJ several moons ago that left his mind split. Lady Zav tried to “cure” Zuric by cloning him but because of the impending destruction of the OJO the process wasn’t perfected leaving the clone who would become the head of the ODSL and the real UrZuric who was taken to Voss.

Zuric with allies as the prepare to search for Zav.

Lady Zav herself was defeated by the clone and reborn as Lady Zyrah who co-ruled the ODSL. At the destruction of the ODSL Zyrah fled with the what was left of the dark council to reform the New Order of the Sith, but was recently kidnapped by an entity best described as a Dread Master. Though the entities reasons aren’t known at this time.

UzZuric finally finding peace in his mind on Voss, though leaving him separated from force is now on a quest to free his once love. Helping him is the remainder of the New Order of the Sith and his son Xahertsa. He also hopes to gain support from the Jedi, though has un-easy truce with them since he feels they dropped the ball to help Zav or the OJO previously. How this will end is anyone’s guess and what the plans of this new entity are only time will tell.”

Imperial Inquisition Prepares to Make Their Mark on the Galaxy

December 8, 2013 9 comments

Following the fights on Yavin IV, GNN reporters Daana Kira and Rakiko Lowtide spoke with the Sith order involved in the attack.

Meeting with the Inquisition in the hangar of their flagship.

In Deep Space: Aboard a large flagship, members of the organization known as the Imperial Inquisition spoke with us following their campaign on Yavin IV. Making themselves known to the galaxy now, the Imperial Inquisition is the umbrella group of several factions. including the Sith Serpentine Order, the Sith academy known as the ROTH, the Grand Maelstrom Armada, and the Imperial Corps known as the Imperial Enclave along with a special forces legion known as the Valor Legionaries. These factions  make up the Imperial Inquisition who claim to be the only true Sith left in the Galaxy.

To back up their claim the have amassed an impressive force of troops and Sith warriors who are backed by a large navy, which they intend to unleash on the galaxy in their bid for total conquest. They plan to start with traditional Sith areas along with other territories they claim belong to their ancestors but will then continue with their campaign to bring the entire galaxy under their control.

Members of the Inquisition

Beginning their campaign were the missions on Yavin IV to reclaim artifacts from the Jedi the Inquisition claim rightfully belong to the Sith. Following a conflict with the Jedi, a conflict the Inquisition claims to have won, several artifacts were first reported as taken. The Inquisition even backed these assertions stating they had the artifacts in custody and they were currently being studied. However, other reports from the fight indicate that the Jedi along with a Gray Jedi order were able to reclaim the major artifacts, so at this time its unclear exactly what was taken.

Also reports indicate that a prisoner was taken from Yavin IV, and assertion that the Inquisition backed once again and claimed to have a Jedi in their custody. He will be placed on trial for his actions against the Inquisition though his current condition is unknown as his custody was classified.

The Inquisition explaining their plan of conquest.

As the Inquisition makes their presence known, it is very likely that further campaigns will continue to be conducted at the Jedi and other forces including Sith organizations that the Inquisition concludes to be on the wrong path such as the orders currently stationed on Byss. They plan to conquer these, according to them, “fake” Sith, though if they denounce their ways they will be brought back into the fold. The upcoming weeks will tell what the effect on the Galaxy will be by this war machine as it moves from system to system.

Conflict with Krayiss II Sith Empire

November 11, 2013 5 comments

A reporter of the Galactic News Network travelled to Krayiss II to meet the authorities.

Dwellings in Krayiss II

The planet Krayiss II, seat of the new Sith Empire led by Darth Apparition and Empress Chaos was the ground of a large assault from Republic’s Forces. The surprise attack was repealed with casualties in both sides. During the combats a small Jedi commando penetrated in the Temple and fought Darth Apparition, who had to use some of his powers to block them. The two Jedi managed to escape but are wanted by the Imperial authorities.

Combats in the temple

Appartion believe his neutralisation was the real motivation behind the attack. The Empire already led campaigns against the Republic’s asset and personalities and he said he’s on the top the Republic’s most wanted.

The Empire is proud of the restoration they’re accomplishing in the Sith Space, rebuilding old monuments and structures and providing job to the Sith citizens. They also stopped to recognize the old Sith Empire in Byss as an empire, but suggest their “organisation” would “request to become a member of The Sith Empire.” Then they “will be given resources to help rebuild their empty land and bring citizens back to it so they may have a work force and a means of income.”

Empress Chaos (centre) and Darth Apparition (right)

Darth Apparition expect to unit all the Sith. He concluded “The Empire’s interests are to get the Sith to work together like never before, and while others may wish for what is left of the Sith to join under their banner, the Capital has moved and it is here. Krayiss II is the Home of the Sith where life begins anew for all of us. If this wasn’t true then we would not have all of this, and those coming to learn under us and make Sith Space a better place.”

Ac’Trayth Jedi returns

October 6, 2013 13 comments

A reporter of Galactic News interviewed Esvakas Verone over Taris.

The Ac’Trayth Jedi is emerging again after a long period where they had to hide from their enemies and recover from their loss. A few yeasr ago, the master Rykiana Ferina went to Byss to confront two Sith generals, Darth Chaos and Darth Keres and stop the war they were orchestrating. The master didn’t come back and the order followed his instruction to enter in the shadow of the unknown region in such a case. Unfortunately, the Sith managed to track them and killed many of the Jedi, assuming  because the order had stopped  their schemes. The order entered then in a phase of discretion.

Esvakas Verone

They however kept contacts within the Galaxy. Feeling their past experience to stabilise worlds would be useful again, they decided to return to assist. The specifics of their plan are not released, but they will at least have to deal with Darth Keres and Chaos who tried to destroy the order.

The Jedi Esvakas Verone considers himself as a Jedi as “more a conduit between the people around me and the force,” than a weapon to defeat the Sith or a tool of the force. The Ac’Trayth distinguishes from many others by its rare direct recruitment. Their headquarter isn’t public, anyone wanting to meet them can “look in the shadow,” once they know of interest, they’ll approach them.

This may change if needed, the enclave decides freely of their orientation course. According to Esvakas Verone, the returning Ac’Trayth is “stronger than before.”

Visiting the Amaran Homeworld

September 15, 2013 Comments off

GNN Reporter Daana Kira traveled to Amar to speak with members of Starwind.

Island of Arannis on Amar.

“Upon the Amaran home world of Amar lies an island known as Arannis with its largest city built inside the caverns of a dormant volcano. Unique on Amar, the island is home to those known as “Chundas” or the exiled ones. Composed mainly of those born with black fur and those that have helped them, these exiled ones have escaped a death sentence and made their own home outside the mainstream Amaran culture. Having the same fur color as the Amaran god of destruction known as Rayxin, this distinction usually tags the amaran to be sacrificed at birth, but many are saved from the destiny and finally make their way to Arannis.

City under the volcano.

The island itself has become more important as Starwind, the organization based on Tatooine to help displaced Amarans contacted the home world for assistance and aid against specism. Instead of finding solace with the rest of Amar, Starwind instead found that racism itself was alive on their home world, but eventually found allies among those of Arannis.  With the sharing of ideas between Starwind and the unique technology of the “Chundras”, Arannis now has a technological advantage over the other populated areas of Amar.

Eric Kaplan of Stawrind.

Heading the equivalent of the ministry of technology for Starwind, Eric Kaplin, is now also overseeing their place on Arannis. Though not born on Amar itself, but growing up on Mandalore, Mr. Kaplin is now back on his species home world to help Starwind and the exiled ones. He was gracious enough to give GNN a tour. He explained that Starwind wasn’t on Amar to stir conflicts or raise arms against their brothers, but just to help protect their new-found allies amongst the “Chundras”. However, they’ve also found a sort of home also on Arannis as the city itself has religious significance as a mecca for the Amaran goddess Mara.

Starwind hopes that their alliance with Arannis will not only end racism on their home world, but also specism throughout the galaxy.”

Sleyheyron Running At Optimal Capacity

September 9, 2013 Comments off

GNN reporters Daana Kira and Rakiko Lowtide visited the Odominic controlled Sleyheyron shipyards.

Sleyheyron Shipyards

Sleheryon System: The shipyards owned by the Odominic Hutt Clan, headed by Issulla the Hutt are operating at full capacity. A large space station is at the center of the activity providing room and activities for workers and visitors alike. The 360 degree view allows a complete overlook of the activity taking place in orbit. Visitors though are advised to make themselves known upon arrival and contact station managers before docking due to the indiscriminate automated security systems which have a tendency to shoot first and ask questions later.

As for the shipyards themselves, they are outfitted with the latest and cutting edge shipbuilding technologies. The facilities are equipped to build stock to custom vessels of about any size from yachts to capital ships ranging in price from 250,000 credits to several hundred million. Most of the ships being built currently were based off imperial star destroyer designs but because of shipyards standards the customer names are confidential. Because of the efficiency of the shipyards, ships can be produced in record times, from just a few weeks to several months.

Exploring the cantina with allies of the Odominic

The space station will also be a center place for business and other business for the Odominic clan and its allies, which include members of the CIS and other Hutt clans. However, even though a meeting hall has been set up for Issulla the Hutt she will still be holding court on Kessel Gate for the foreseeable future. Other facilities are included to give traders and other visitors a chance to relax or conduct business and in the future special events may also be held there.Overall the shipyards were impressive to see and for those looking to do business with the Hutts, are in the market for a new ship, or need someplace to set up trades, the Sleheyron Shipyards are the place to be.”

Dunka the Hutt Business Expands on Nal Hutta

September 4, 2013 3 comments

GNN reporters Daana Kira and Rakiko Lowtide met with Dunka the Hutt on Nal Hutta.

Nal Hutta open for business.

“Taking advantage of the chaos in Hutt space; Dunka, the son of Smooka the Hutt has now taken over Unobunko Clan and has expanded his influence over Nal Huttaa. According to Dunka he now has influence or direct control over half of the planet, especially over the spice and weapon businesses.

Dunka the Hutt.

Having been underground for several years until the leadership change on Nar Shaddaa and the subsequent troubles allowed him to emerge and work his way back t the top. He now commands a legion of men who will use any means to reach their goals. Currently the Hutt and his entourage can be found in one of their many establishments or the large palace, Dunka now resides in.

One advantage to this shift in power is that trade lanes are fully open to Nal Hutta and merchants and visitors  can go there unimpeded. However those traveling to do business with Dunka should be aware that they use all means at their disposal to get what they want.

CoNC Looks For the End of Alien Oppression

August 16, 2013 Comments off

GNN reporters Daana Kira and Rakiko Lowtide met with the leader of the Call of New Cadance (CoNC) which seeks to end oppression and racism against aliens throughout the galaxy.

Mos Eisley, Tatooine: Similiar to the goals of Starwind, the CoNC also seeks to end racism and oppression against alien species. Though their focus is more general than Starwinds and they seek to cover the oppression of all aliens they perceive.

Nox, leader of the CoNC.

The organization is neutral in their dealings with other factions is composed. To fulfill their mission they have scouting, recon and force arms. They also train individuals in these arts and have been known to help other groups such as the TGO and NJO. Not really hiring their services out they go to wherever aliens species are being oppressed.

The leader, Nox “the Hound” has built a base for the CoNC on Tatooine. The location has been beneficial since they’ve ben able to ally with Starwind because of their shared goals.  However until recently most of their activity has taken place on Nar Shaddaa where they have been helping those abandoned.

CoNC offices in Mos Eisley.

So far their activities have been peaceful while they convince others to end their oppressive natures, but they have training and means to go up against any situation peaceful or not.  The group is pen to train those needing help and are looking for competent recruits. On that behalf Nox had this to say “if anyone wants to join us we will accept anyone, no matter age, species or skill. we can train troopers, aswell as force users. My mate the Starwind Dunn Spector, helps train the troopers. as where i handle more of the force users.” For those interested or need help, the CoNC can be found in Mos Eisley on Tatooine.”

Starwind Hosts Ball on Tatooine

August 12, 2013 Comments off

GNN Reporters Daana Kira and Rakiko Lowtide attended a ball held by the Starwind organization on Tatooine.

Several showed up in their best attire to the Starwind ball.

Mos Eisley, Tatooine: The organization known as Starwind, which was formed to help Amarans and other aliens in need of a home, recently held a ball to commemorate their goals and friendship with other organizations as well as those that have helped over the years. Originally planned to boost the morale of Starwind members, Gryff also invited several groups to raise awareness for the challenges met by the group and Amarans in general. Invited were the Grey Order, KOJ, DJE, and the Imperial Garrison which has base in Mos Eisley. Gryff stated that these groups all shared some of the ideas that Starwind expresses and wished to celebrate their friendship.

Starwind started out helping Amarans displaced on Tatooine but has grown and now fights the ever-present discrimination that Gryff stated afflicated his people specifically and discrimination of all species in general. Over his lifetime he’s seen countless atrocities committed against several races and knows full well the brunt his people have faced. He hopes that Starwind is providing an opportunity to help those displaced, attacked, or oppressed just because they are Amaran.

Kepora the youngling.

From the general atmosphere and the talk of several of the guests it seems Starwind is living up to their goal. For example, a young Amaran by the name Kepora related his story. The young-ling had been with his parents when they stopped in Mos Esley. They left the young boy on the ship but failed to ever return. their whereabouts or status have been lost to the sands of the desert planet. Without support the young-ling resorted to petty crime to survive, but was finally taken in by Starwind where he was given a home. Now the young-ling is prospering and hope to help others like he was and is forever grateful to Starwind. His story was one of several who have been a given a second lease on life by this organization.

Gryff

Starwind itself has grown by leaps and bounds since its establishment and may soon branch out to other systems to help Amarans throughout the galaxy. They’ve also become experienced at fighting those that have attacked them and Amarans in general and are utilizing that experience to help the Imperial Garrison bring law and order to Tatooine. In addition they’ve found that several of their beliefs coincide with those of the Jedi and have formed favorable relationships with several orders.

The ball exemplified the camaraderie felt in the organization, their prosperity and their openness to salute  and congratulate their allies. For one night at least the worries of the galaxy were placed at the doorstep and people enjoyed the drink, food, dance, entertainment and most importantly each other.
